3.0 is a WIP there is a bunch of info floating around the web. Think what IOS4 did for the iPhone except for Android.
Yeah but mainly all rumors. The Sdk isnt available to public, and with the speed 2.2 is taking to rollout it might be awhile for 3.0 to hit all the phones that meet the requirements. I been using the os since the g1 release (currently own a Droid X) and I feel 2.2 is good enough to my liking.
Unfortunetly I live in Canada so best I could do phone wise was the Xperia X10, which is absolutely amazing, still has the snap dragon powering it, just needs that 2.2 update which is spos to be coming in a month from 1.6
Bring your phone's processor to a grinding halt if you're not using an Iphone4? 2.2? Isn't that froyo? I thought gingerbread was already out.
its Android 2.3, not 3.0 2.3 is codenamed Gingerbread. That is the one with all the fun new features and 3D stuff. So I am assuming you are all talking about that when you say "just wait for the next version" 3.0 is probably going to be codenamed "Honeycomb" and will be optimized for tablets rather than smart phones.
