Congratulations to WoW Sargeras! They have successfully killed Sartharion with his three drakes alive, completing what is considered the hardest boss encounter of the current World of Warcraft content. Gorchild was the lucky recipient of the Reins of the Twilight Drake!
now we repeat it on 10 man, which is probably harder as far as getting all the right class balancing to live through it. also, repeating this feat now that we took luck out of our timing (we'd be trying for weeks with only 5 healers so we could nuke down the 3 drakes before the big dragon got really pissed off) by bringing extra healers and just letting Shadron live 30 seconds longer. ...that and Kelad will surely want to pay 600 dkp for the next mount too.
well, they started replacing people if they ate flame walls in multiple attempts... and we brought enough healers. so once we had some people on the fence and subbed in valars we were good. after all, he can hop any fence.
Finally got a group together to do 10 man... fairly easy at this point. we had 2 healers and a tank offspec to dps and zerged... killed 2nd try at this with a mix melee/caster setup without too many issues
Congrats! I havent played WoW since before 3.0 - but this was a very difficult fight at that time. I never made it past 2 drakes successfully. --Zy
It is a pretty easy fight if you got good players who are geared/skilled. Right now with all the nerfing and people geared in 8.5 its ease sauce for anyone to grab up, title wise. Tell me when you get mimiron down on 25 man hard mode . That one wasnt the easiest. Tell me when you get Algalon down also, i dont know the progress for this guild for wow division.
