Level 40 and you!
Misconceptions:

* Nothing is going on in T4.
* There are no scenario pops.
* There is no reason to rush


Corresponding Truths:

* There have been many open rvr events as well as keep captures, and fortress takes (or at least tries at one).
* There are, in fact, scenario pops and the common misconception is that there are none or too few, however, this is not the case. Although I will say it probably won't be as fast as T3, but by the time you get here I would say about the same wait time for pops.
* There is actually plenty reason to get to 40. Renown gain is far better at this level with each BO giving 200 more renown than in T3. Also, keep captures are better as well as gearing out your character in gear that matters...lvl 40 gear. Another reason is one of the goals of XoO and always has been...fame. XoO is out to win, out to make a name for ourselves, and do it in style. Lately there has been much talk in T4 and its popularity growing very fast. We need to set a presence there as soon as possible or other guilds will and have been.

I am sure some will say otherwise, however, they aren't in T4. Granted there is no reason to force yourself to do something that will not be enjoyable, however, I am confident that once we get more in T4 we will be having a TON of fun. If your a slow leveler and can only play a certain amount of time a week thats fine, however, for those purposely waiting in T3 due to these misconceptions this post applies to you.


Where to Level?

T1 - Anywhere. Quest until you completly finish with T1 as well as doing scenarios. However, there is no need to wait for scenarios as renown gain is a lot better the higher in tier you go. In T1.2 you will be able to pick up an epic quest. However, if you pick it up in Chrace (DE) you will find yourself running through the Shadowlands...a horribad area.

T2 - Anywhere but Shadowlands, Ellyrion is a good place, however the Shadownlands should be avoided given the complex nature of the area. Here you will mix pq's, quests, and scenarios, however, like above don't wait for any of them. For PQ's head to Ostland and Troll Country for the best ones. Krul Gor Herd, Felde Farms, Ragashes Last Stand, Griffon Hunters, Trovelek, and Tearing the Portal.

T3 - The place where grinding is actually awesome...however, only really comes into play in the later stages. So any of the zones for questing are fine. Great ae grinding spots are at Averlorn in Quyl-Isha Temple. In Saphery at Starsight Mansion, House of Cards, Recompense, and a good PQ is Whitemoon Manor. In High Pass at Beacon of Firengrom, and Tempest Horn. Do note that the quests near the end of saphery start to suck and get much harder.

T4 - In T4 right after ch 14 head straight to the Chaos Wastes and ae grind at The Storm is Coming. AE grinding is best with 2 people, no more, and a combination of a sorc/tank, sorc/healer, marauder/healer, marauder/marauder, marauder/sorc, dok/sorc, and a magus can switch out for the sorc on any of them. Of course you can solo this area as well. Once your ready to move along to bigger and better things the PQ in Caledor at coordinates 57k, 24k is very nice and is a perfect duo area, although only AE grind against equal level mobs and challenging mobs will take a lot less damage. The area up in Caledor range from 34-35's so head there around 33ish. After that head to Dragonwake to the pq area located around 38k, 17k and in that small island there is a perfect SOLO area. You can also run up and down the sides killing the mobs up and down there. However, there are a lot of adds and a champ mob walking around, however you can time you killing to avoid her. In ch 19 at 47k, 48k there is another good duo or solo pq that you can do around 37ish. After that go to etaine and grind on the first pq's there. Once you get to 38 head to 45k, 55k under shrine of Lileath for some awesome team grinding or duo grinding. Here you will hit 40.

Once you get to 32, it will only take about 3-4 days of playing to get to 40.


For those who are confused as on how to get to T4. Hop on vent and ask. The guys in T4 know all of the great grind/ae/quest/pq locations after many times searching for them ourselves.
