The people at Arena Net have to be getting a laugh out of this, because I know I am. :p But, hey, apparently I've always wanted to get a title for getting an in-game haircut?

  3. Meh nothing new really. I mean I guess you have the chance to receive more rewards, but you can get a title from doing a shit ton of things. The only thing they added is more ways to do it, and actually getting a pet.

  5. Don't underestimate the compulsion for vanity pet collecting. Gamers are vain vain vain creatures when it comes to their in-game characters.

This is very, very true. :D

I showed off all my mounts and pets to Sid The Rat and Mr. Gifford last night. They were good sports and humored me. :p Much love!

You should see some players in Ultima Online. Vanity has become the point of that game. There are a few players, in a game where 100 million can make you the most powerful ________ and average players never have more than 30, they are spending BILLIONS on SINGLE instances of pixel crack.

    Still, lol @ blizzard fail.

Doesn't sound like there will be a WoW2 immediately - said upcoming MMO will be something else... whether a different franchise or an entirely new one (which wouldn't hurt, considering the newest was in fact Starcraft in 1997 or 8) remains to be seen though.

WoW will only turn into GW if they dropped the subscription. There really isn't anything new in terms of grinding.

WoW is simply trying to get more people to stay by saying, "but, dont leave, you are special"

Wouldn't it be interesting if they linked WoW titles to a Starcraft MMO

It's a little considering that a trip to a single movie, sporting event, or concert will usually cost more...and the event only lasts a couple of hours, whereas you can access the game 24/7 if you're that crazy. ;)
