the game play has only gotten better...many many more city added..think its around 600 citys now

it is realistic..all ballistics...all armor..penetration,angle,distance,all armor thickness of all tanks..even spalding on the inside of armour( the metal of the armour breaking off inside and flying around inside) is true to life.
Just no wind taken in to account is all thats missing.

all flying is realistic charactaristics..including with any damages....flying is freaking HARD..ands that dont include trying to dogfight....the damage from 5000lb bombs 500lb 100lb 50lbs are all true to life..area..shrapnel.

bombers do more that hit tanks...the big bombers are important in hitting enemy factorys..have to knock out production point..for more weapons and development of newer types..ie tiger..bf 109e..etc

ive seen flights of over 100 aircraft....and parachute drops of over 200 men on one city..
    thats scary on both ends...
seeing that many men come down around you.

.or dropping down with 50 cal ...40mm aaa....and anyone with a rifle, smg or heavy mg trying to shoot you as you drop.

oh yea..and ship to ship battles..ship to shore..and water landings..

    no pics yet
actually this is the unity 2 engine..Unity is an in house developed engine.

it will be nice looking..Ive seen pics but cant find them atm..Ill update when I do...

also things like rag doll physics..varied weather..

Considering it will display terrain for a few kilometers..and every thing in the area..planes..inf..explosion effects..vehicles..

depending on your settings you might have to render up to 198 different friendlies and enemies...this will be a big hit on older pc's...

I played the game for 10 days using the trial. Good game and flying was fun but lots of problems kept me away from the game.

Some quirks include no training - I had to do research online to find out how to fly (and it was difficult to find this guide) - and I hated the fact that you had to switch sides every time you logged in because the side you wanted to play was overpopulated. What's the point in any team game where you can't stick to one side? I don't have a better alternative at the moment, but all I'm saying is people don't like it like that.

The graphics update should look sweet though.

Not finding the training is the problem..but it is there. There is a server reserved for training staffed by the players base. Also in game there are many players who devote time to helping new players. Its an underused resource and that is a problem that is being addressed soon with the new and improved battlefield europe..aka ww2ol

the learning curve is very very steep..the realism is a killer...most kills are one shot...you have no idea why you died. Your just dead.
