awesome I think most all of the quest content is going to be single player for the story. Maybe it will be for small groups (like instances) but I don't think the story will be a part of the PvP. The PvP story should be made by the players imo.
I have the biggest boner imaginable for this game. Especially where the game gives each member of your group a chance to talk and make choices during the conversations. Wow. just wow.
One of the features i saw that was pretty cool was the cover feature. Will make position matter a bit more. All will bow before imperial law
There trying to tell a story so its kinda forcing you to roleplay, its making you gorup with like minded individuals with a common goal. Just like if you were running around with some psyco and he just starts shooting people what are you going to do?
Yeh, im really excited for this, but in the mean time, i will be playing Aion!!!(will be playing both Aion and SWTOR eventually i think).
I'm gonna be that sith warrior who kills every single NPC possible and make sure I'm feared by everyone.
This looks good, I'm just worried about the story driven content muscling out the multiplayer interaction. I mean, they're still just glorified cut-scenes for quests. I wonder how long it will take to go through them all. I hope they aren't too instancy and your friends can come and go without planning everything ahead of time. The one bad thing about focusing everything on story, is that stories end...
Honestly I hope there are quests where it takes you several hours youd just have to plan it like a raid. What i want to see soon is some PvP mechanics.
Yes this is what I am looking for in a MMO now. A compelling meaningful story that gives me a reason to level up and pay that monthly fee other then just because.
it looks pretty awesome but I think the Jedi/Sith will mow everyone down with their lightsabers from the look of that video unless bounty hunters can jetpack in the air for a really long time which i doubt or their flamethrower/hold abilities have fast cooldown. I also noticed that both the Sith and the Bounty Hunters face look identical lol
Wow...the games simply looks superb. This game is definitely going to take many countless nights from me again. We can only wait for the product! Thumbs up for the post!
YEAH it looks good, cartoonish but grate, solid animations. good voices. looks like it will be some what Guild Wars, with group missions/quest. wich i dont mid, i like intaces here and there makes me feel in the game special (saiting for something to spawn in line like other 5 players kills inmertion) the game also looks like there will not be many quest, but all of them will long and cool, like that in the ship or the bouty hunter championship.
