So magic find is back in? Can you post where you heard of that?

Something like Tal Rasha's? I want an end game set for every god damn build in the game, I want it flashy as fuck, and I want it to be rare as IK.

I never completed any high-end sets for Diablo 2, even... that might change before too long, but still, they're rare enough!

Of ... course, once you factor in trading nothing's fantastically rare any more.

Well there is that. But i also recall using alot of perfect topaz' in 4 socket armors when i didnt have a magic find peice for that armor slot.

If they do put magic find in this, and i hope they do, i hope they go about adding that stat differently.. I mean i cant imagine too many other ways. It just sucked seeing a few %'s of MF on a really sweet piece of armor when it could have been something else.

I'll collect it no matter what. Im a pack rat. And nothing pleases me more than boss runs on my MF hammerdin =(

Not only were all the endgame sets not for all class, but there was only a few actually worth their rarity.
Sure, Tal Rasha and IK were great on their own, but something like alds or trangs? Jesus christ, alds were useless and once you fullset with trangs it drastically lowers your FC effectiveness to that of a blood lord, which while adding extra fire spells it lowers the FC to do even less dmg than fullset, which is why a full set minus the trang wing is better than a full. STUPID.

Sir you play druids, why do you need a full set?

Sadly it looks like the DIII info is starting to stagnate now. Pretty much nothing over the last 2 days. Nothing worth posting anyway. I'm still hunting though.

It shall come in spurts now... kinda like SCII info. A sad thing but it must be so the devs can get back to work and finish the game!

Well, a lot of info lately has been coming from the B.net forums. Just hasn't been as much lately.

I'm all over the fansites and forums several times a day. Whatever I find that relates to DIII's mechanics or story will be posted immediately.

Generally been making do without for those. The mace is a good weapon for attack speed but not much else; really the best bet for my newest one seems to be decent uniques and whatever runewords I can actually make. It's based around an upped ribcracker, and apart from that, I'll probably shoot for duress when I get a good candidate, and Jalal's once I actually find one.

The main thing I'm interested in the set for is the bowazon (except possibly the bow, I doubt it'll beat an upped buriza) and maybe kicksin... though bartuc's is probably better than the super-rare Natalya's Mark, and easier to find too...

That and I'm working on helping a friend complete TR... pretty much just the amulet to go now. Which, perversely, I found on West, but it isn't turning up so easily on East. Got a Highlord's recently though. :)

But it's a 1 handed mace so counter intuitive to all druid combat builds, damage scales evenly where as FAS scales down frames over time which means that just pure dmg will be more effective than a FAS boost with even dmg and FAS boosting items either way.
The only thing that it actually helps is a dual wield barb mace mastery with most likely WW/frenz, otherwise a 2 hander would be more effective in any scenario I can think of.

My druid had full aldors. I liked the glow and the dear head : P. I originally acquired the set with my wolf form druid, but scrapped him for the wind elemental druid who kicked major ass. I loved that guy, almost as much as my bone necro. Too bad all were loss when I stopped playing for awhile. *cries*

Side note: trangs was pretty bad. I got it for my first necro and although having the vampire skin was interesting it just wasn't worth losing all of that potential power. I learned my lesson then and when I made my min-maxed bone necro I went only for uniques/rune words, which were better than any sort of set.

Technically that skin more resembles a ram's head or maybe an ibex (type of mountain goat). The designation of the normal variant as "antlers" used to kind of annoy me because they obviously aren't.

But anyway. I guess I'd just like to see one of those sets one day, even if I probably wouldn't use them much by then. Just for the aura or something. :)

Actually, now that I think about it, you are probably right. It has been such a long time since I played and everything is getting a little fuzzy.

I wish the same thing would happen to all that useless WoW info I have stuck in my head after 2 years of not playing. (Except for a friend asking me to main-tank kara with his 70 warr for a week or so while he couldn't) Anyways, that WoW info needs to be seared from my mind to make room for more important things like Calc 3/French/any other class I can snag during registration. Sorry for the off-topic rant. I just hate remembering every detail of WoW pre-BC down to the raid encounters and the best places to farm mats. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! *cries*

Your druid would have been so much better with a Cranium Basher instead, you'd do like 6+ times the damage plus 75CB and amplify damage on striking.

Haha cranium basher :D Sadly I've never found one - had an earth shifter handed to me by said friend, but my best is the aforementioned ribcracker.

I got most of my stuff from XoO. We just had huge dumps were everyone donated. I traded for some of the items, but I remember Lev giving me the helm.

1 thing I used to do was trade 40 pgems. I would always pick up flawless and above gems, cube as needed to perfect, and trade them. I could usually get decent items for pgems or at the time I think a Pul rune.... maybe less.
