Tron Legacy (ZOMG!)

I just heard about this a few days ago and nearly pissed myself with excitement!

Now this is some shit I have to see. Over and over and over.

 

Saw the trailer. I Jizzed. I watched the original Tron today. Makes me want to see the new Tron even MORE!

 

I remember standing in line in the heat of Bakersfield CA to see the original Tron. Think it was $1 since I was a kid. I got my folks to let me ride the bus all the way to the theater (I lived on the "wrong side of the tracks", the only white kid in the black area of Bakersfield) with my friends Winston and Gregg. Damn, that day is still one of my favorite memories of growing up!!!

 

made by disney though? anything made by disney is geared towards kids

 

So is the original. I think that's why the IP has not gone anywhere. In fact, you can see a clear cutout of Mickey Mouse's head when they're flying over the landscape on the stolen simulation in the first movie.

 

Good news. Tron is a cult classic.
