How is it shaping up? How are they handling lvling and powers? What kind of missions are there? What's the PVP like, and raid content or something similar.

    Aka sell me the game.

Since you cant see me I'll just let you know there is a complete lack of care on my face. Not like I loose a buck if it doesn't sell.

Subs based + additional microtransactions for additional utility + other non-gameplay enhancing items.

This is the future of all MMO approaches to payment IMO.

Wow, bad news. I won't be playing any game that does that unless it is THE best on the market. They want me to pay for a box, pay a sub, and then pay micro transactions for costume pieces and "utility" items (we all know they will be needed)? What a joke. They can shove CO so far up their money grubbing asses their ears bleed spandex. Never paying that company a single penny.

Fucking developers are really wringing the market dry with a bunch of shitty fucking games with no advances in the actual gameplay mechanics. When games do stumble on new mechanics and features that seem to have a spark, the developers fuck it up and the game sinks. When games like Eve and WoW are still the most popular after almost 7 years... You know developers everywhere just gave the fuck up. Yet they are demanding more and more money. Fuck those fucks. Come up with something really NEW and EVOLVED and I'll pay you box+sub+mt, otherwise get the fuck out.

Fucking microtransactions for City of Heroes v1.5... What a joke.

    /rant

Good luck on getting your fat paychecks Cryptic, but your games are just not for me.

I would edit out Softcores post because even if he doesn't care about the NDA it might make XoO look bad =P (I.E. we have a bunch of NDA breakers.. which might hinder future guild betas)

I doubt any companies read our forums, but you never know

I'm just so sick of these companies jerking us off to get our money. They hire minimum wage incompetent programmers, have no desire to do anything "outside of the box", most can't even run a fucking forum properly, patches that break more than they fix, it's getting to the point where they're just modding an existing game and want to charge a fucking box fee, subscription fee and microtransactions. I mean, what the fuck is going on? People need to close their wallets and quit feeding these retards. It's getting an awful lot like the asian F2P market around here. 1 new MMO every single week with 1 goal in mind. Suck as much money out of you as fast as humanly possible, so when you realize their game is just a mod of some 6 year old MMO, it's too late, they've already got your cash.

I hope developers do read our forums, because I have some words for them. QUIT TRYING TO TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY FOR YOUR FUCKED UP GAMES! L2DESIGN! L2PROGRAM!

Not like it's gonna change anything to complain, the future of MMOs is and has always been Sub + Micro transaction. Heck Blizzard had been doing it for over a year and you don't see anyone complaining about it. What do you think is a Character Sex Change for 10$, or a character transfer for 20$? Micro-transaction pure and simple, just because it doesn't have a shiny web page with a new form of currency called Blizzard Coins doesn't make it any less of a micro-transaction.
