So, Martian soil can support life, at least that you can grow asparagus with it. Question is, can Martian atmosphere support plant life? Third question is, can you get a stable supply of water? If all these are answered, then let the terraforming begin.
Thats the big thing Lioka, we need to be able to get the other parts of Mars to support life, not just the soil.

Problem in that comparison is that $2 is not a lot of money, and we are talking about the infeasible expense. Not a lot of people of which are easily parted with their money have a lot of money to begin with.
