hmm yeah apparently the 30 bucks a month BIS does not include phone as a modem, even though it was working.

Apparently even if you dont have the phone as a modem service, you can still use it, then they charge you per kb that you use.. FUcking stupid.

Hrm, I know nothing about sprint :( Just rogers. It's strange how people complain that data rates in canada are ridiculous. I pay 30 for 6GB and will never get close to that with tethering.....gps.....mobile browsing....email. Whereas you get ripped for tethering and it is included in mine. Are you sure they will ding you for it?

Hmm that's what they said. 15 bucks more a mon for tethering and using it as a modem. I might call em again and see if I can get someone who isn't trying to rush me off the phone.

On a side note, the bolt browser kicks ass.

the president of our company purchased a crackberry. so now i get to set up a server to support the RIMM service software necessary to "properly" connect to a MS Exchange Server. will let you know if it is all worth it. probably later this weekend the "result will be in".

seems to be working and he is happy with it. adds the ability to synch his calendar, tasks all is IMAP folders (and subfolders) in addition to the basic INBOX. wasn't too painful, only required a whole seperate server to install on :p
