Perhaps it makes me an idiot, but I'm not actually going to uninstall it. At least, not without knowing much about exactly what it does, which I guess I should look up at some point.
in the name of the article, "ClickOnce" Apps allow programs to be installed with only a single click, so smart people are still safe typically. is what it looks like. without this extention, apps can't be installed this way. i uninstalled before seeing what the deal was, but there's lots of articles about the exploits of it... its kind of meh the more i look at it, but i disagree with uninformed installations like this
I agree with you what I don't understand how there are people defending MS on this? Regardless if you can disable it or not? MS shouldn't be putting crap on your computer that could lead to problems. Why do people always fail to miss the freaking point?
At least you know what you are? Most people are blind to their own stupidity. What baffles me is that you would rather sit in ignorance than find out what's going on. PS: It's a good thing I stop using Firefox for Chrome, but thats besides that point. MS should be compromising people machines because IE blows.
well, the addon's something that can be helpful and most people don't know much about one click, which is where the real hazard comes in. as long as you don't click yes on every box, it's a fairly harmless... but i removed on principle of them fucking with my computer.
Had to reformat my computer. It's on my firefox now... but its only version 1.0 and it doesn't have an uninstall option. Just disable.
