everyone bashes bush but they fail to remember that clinton set him up for failure. the horrible bubble economy and housing market bush was left with was set to fall apart any day and mash on the dotcom/y2k market crash and 9/11 and he was left with a total pile of shit. i am not saying the man was a genius, his military and political sense left a lot to be desired, but his foundation was laid by the president before him and sure seems like it was sabotaged.

Yes, but the Bush-isms didn't help his image of being an idiot.

Well they're going to take out all the fun in the 1st amendment. If we make an ism criticizing obama, I'm sure it's going to be called racist.

You know that alot of those "Bush-isms" are staged... If you watch/listen to presidents through the years you'll find that they do a number of things like that to endear themselves to the common man. Hell, even Obama puts on a southern drawl when speaking to southerners.

Right, that's what I'm saying. They're cancelling the show because of low viewership.

My point was that 2 million is even less. :p That's how many people give a rats ass about the O'Rielly Factor... i.e. if it was subjected to the same standards as network TV would be soooooo off the air.

This would apply to any cable news show.

Exactly. Point being, everyone's raving about how great the vewiership is for Fox News is compared to other cable news stations but the point is overall very few people care enough to watch. People can't really make a point about how "most of America" isn't embarrassed by or agrees with with Fox news based on the fact that more people watch it...since the truth is no one's watching any cable news. :p You can't really use a few hundred thousand more people watching the one station that really presents that point of view to mean much of anything.

i seriously doubt that. "a lot" would indicate some portion of them, meaning that other's were not staged and really are because he's that bad. now, his handlers and consultants should really be fired if they decided that having many more of these screw ups would be a good plan.

Doubt it all you want, but every president puts on a little bit of a show trying to endear themselves to the public.

True, but when playing that way it pays to remember that there are people who do not find stupidity endearing. They just find it...stupid.

No one's going to like everyone, though, regardless of how they play it. My sense is that I'd personally rather hang out with Obama than (either) Bush, but that doesn't mean that either of their politics particularly match my personal views. WTB viable multi-party system PST. :D

You obviously cared enough to post. Need attention much?

I don't. Quebec is a bunch of self-absorbed socialists who think the rest of the country owes them everything. Montreal is the only place the American anthem is boo'd, because they are simply assholes. Hell, they boo their own team even worse when they don't win. Go anywhere else and both anthems are cheered, because we know there are players from both countries on both teams. It's okay to dislike a country's leaders or policies. But to boo the anthem is disrespectful to everyone in that country, even those who you'd share the same beliefs with.

I said I don't care if the Canadians boo the national anthem not that I don't feel the need to express my opinion. Next time you try and comment please think it all the way through. Not everyone want's hugs and kisses, if I rubbed you the wrong way then my post was more than worth it.

Don't worry about Kyoji, Thogun. We all already know he's a miserable failure at everything he touches.

And really, the whole US vs Canada thing is getting a bit played out too. Can't we find something new to argue about and flex our e-peens over?

No you didn't, you just said "who cares? Am I the only one who doesn't? Maybe if you were more explicative in your posts there would be less misunderstanding and flaming.
