Me if they can pull it off. =) I have a feeling its going to be huge just by name itself. But as far as game play.. I'm really picky, so I have a sneaking suspicion it might bomb (IMPO).

I've heard its going to be story driven like LotRO.. and I hated LotRO, so I'm skerred. =/

I will give it a try because I love the universe, but I have this odd feeling that the game will bomb. Everyone wants to play SWG again, and this game just isn't going to be anything close.

    I hope I'm wrong! :) :) :)

Heheh exactly. :) NGE pretty much nuked SWG into complete suckery.

And why a game hasn't come along to mirror all the old SWG systems by now is so beyond me. The crafting and resource system was the best ever of any mmo before it or since. Why some company hasn't capitalized on that yet is really freaky.

Anyways, if SWOR does have a chance, it will be because people like me are finally over the mourning process and can finally come to terms with the fact that SWG is dead and never coming back. And maybe it'll finally be time to start dating a new Star Wars mmo.

    We shall see heheh.

The microtransaction system has neither been confirmed or denied and probably wont till closer to launch.

If this gets supported by XoO or not Im going to be running a group at around 5PM Seattle, WA time. Ill be running sith side unless we do get supported and the guild decides the republic faction.

Everyone will be going Sith, that's why I'm gonna go Republic and stick with the Jedi.

Isn't this game kinda far off for such precise planning?

I'll be trying both sides, but I have a feeling BioWare will favor the Sith.

Ill go with the republic, Light always defeats the dark. Plus it rolls for a better story and gameplay experience imo, esspecially since most players always like to choose the dark/evil race or side in games now.

A good jedi with a few dark force powers for those times of need. No ones perfect after all ;)

I love playing darkside since it seems easier most of the time to just kill people to get what you want and not worry a whole lot about consequences. But, light side I think would be more fulfilling. I would need to try both first though to make up my mind. Maybe the killing would be just too much fin to resist. I'm also it won't be that easy.

Im planning this far ahead because I have nothing better to do. Honestly no MMO's on the market currently interest me and I can't be playing CoD4 all the time.

yeah, there's no harm in thinking ahead... but remember we must; always in motion is the future.

Ooooo you just butchered Yoda! :(

Always in motion, the future is...

Yeah thinking that far ahead is great if you can heheh. I'm a hobo, so I don't even know what I'll be doing for a living or even where I'll be living, lol.

What I know for sure is, both sides of the force I will be trying. Great appreciation for the game, I will gain hmm hmm!

actually, i didn't... check episode v right at 1 hr 17 min 58 sec, then come back and eat your words. (thats the special edition... time may be different if from source to source, but you are still wrong... sorry)

Though I do admit it's one of the few memorable lines from that part of the movie where Yoda uses normal syntax. it was one of the lines that i misheard the first time i saw the movie (although i was too young at the time to understand the meaning of it at the time, it's something that i rewatched and have known very well for the last 20 years, though it did take me a pulling out the dvd to find you that timestamp)
