I'm waiting for the theaters release. I'm seeing this movie just for Gambit. Nightcrawler was amazing in X2 so I'm hoping Gambit one ups him.

^this Gambit owns they totally should of had him in the first 3 some how..

Plus I like Ryan Reynolds character but I dunno if the "funny" man can pull off being a serious ass kicker.. Oh just found out that hes Deadpool.. Heard a lot about him.. Now I really want him to pull it off!

  3. i want to see Deadpool.

and how bad they butcher "Wolverine origins" because it will not folow the comic by a long shot.

Rose, dog, logan and all the rest, its going to be awefull.

  4. Yeah, I got over them butchering the comic storylines a long time ago. I'm just having fun seeing the characters come to life on the big screen, and I'm not stressing the loyalty to the comic storyline as as long as they keep the characters pretty true to themselves.

I was definitely bummed that Psylocke was in X3 for all of about 40 seconds. :(

Wolverine will always be Sabertooth's son!

  6. who is psylocke? her power is to phase through walls or something?

  7. Psylocke's power is being the hottest of the X-Men! Oh yeah, and she can also stab you through the head with a psychic knife, which is pretty brutal.

And she has like a face tattoo thing for extra awesomeness!

If she was real, I'd be scared of her but I'd want to meet her anyway. :D

  8. wow only a knife that stabs through your head? what a limited attack in both range and places to attack =/

lol im just kidding....to bad they didnt show her using her pew pew

  9. psylocke's a telepath of limited ability who learned extensive martial arts and focuses her power into a telepathic attack in the shape of a knife. the number of random things over the years never seem to adjust more than a bit of that concept, though i remember she at one point did some more serious telepathy but then they came up with some reason to make that not last

Only if Jim Lee draws her. Actually all the women he draws are hot!

    Shoji likes this.
  11. Pshhh.

    See Emma Frost. Astonishing X-Men

    QFT!

I have fond memories of standing in line at comic conventions to get him to sign stuff. To add...Scott Williams/Jim Lee combo as artist and inker was the bomb.

@Shoji - damn...I didn't spot Psylocke showing up in X3 although 40 seconds is easy to miss though.

  13. Yeah I saw her ans was all, "YAY!!! PSYLOCKE!!" and then I was like, "wait...where did she go? :( "

White Queen is undoubedly the hottest telepath. But she's not a ninja.

I don't think she's still part of the X-Men though, is she?

And yes, I need to quote you again.

I just wanted to be cool and quote you too :)

oh and she is my new favourite X-woman(?). Hopefully they find somebody to fill this role in the film. Costume and all ;)

In that case, it would be X-rated.

Yeah, so I saw the film :( no emma frost :(

    BUT!!!

The rest of the movie was excellent! I think it is one of the better movies that i have seen in theres of late. I liked Liev Shreiber as Sabertooth a lot more than I did HHH, even though he didn't have much to say. There wasn't really anything that I found was wrong with it. More it brought up questions about why things didn't happen in the later 3. Like the whole wolverine and gambit thing.

    **Edit**

Found the person to play Emma Frost o_O

  19. that would be a nice match for frost.

On a side note, the movie was alright, but overall I don't think it lived up to the hype. Too much convoluted storyline and not enough action. Also, they didn't delve into other aspects such as deadpool, which they fucked up horribly. Sabertooth played flawlessly and even outshined Wolverine, next I would say Deadpool (before they fucked it up) - laser eyes? built in swords? for shame. I am not 100% sure, but I know deadpool is in the comics so he obiously must not be dead, but not sure how they will work that.

I will have to put my faith into Star Trek for a very good movie it seems.
