Valindria The Concert Promoter: This Friday at 9:30pm at the House of Bricks in Des Moines Iowa will be the first concert I have set up (minus shows setup for my band to play). The show will have Inept as the head liner. I love this band. After I booked them they got on a nation wide tour with Trapt and Red! It costs $10. Pretty much Wren is the only person I could think of that visits these forums and is is Iowa. Anyway I thought I would let you all know about it. Even if you don't come to my show you should check out Inept. They are amazing live.

No worries. Plus to drive from CR to Des Moines on a Friday night for a show this small kinda seems dumb to me. I just wanted people to know about it. Hurt is the smallest band I drove to CR for. They played 1st street live on Valentines day '06? I have gone to Iowa City for Inept though.
I was visiting my girlfriend in Wisconsin, which we drove from there to Chicago to see my cousin play live. I live in Ontario. So you can say I travelled a looooong way to see her live

Des Moines Other Iowa bands: Mindrite, Destrophy, Deified, Finding The Warren, East Eighteen, Albino Spiders, Thoughts of Crossing. MN All The Right Moves - Pop Punk from MN. They have keys and a violin. Take Cover - Pop Rock NE The JV Allstars - Lincoln Nebraska - Pop punk. These guys are a lot of fun. IL Inept - Not enough can be said about how great this band is. Mindrite is the only one i've heard out of that bunch.. Very interesting voice but sounds really good!
