interesting..but they really needed someone a little more enthusiastic to present it. That aside..It looks like a game to watch.

I mean that, and the fact that Japan has a huge leep from American gamers and it might be an asian dominated game before it even gets released for U.S.

frm how things are said it should be the EU/NA next but i think Japan and EU/NA are going to be release closer together then how they did china and Korea. the reason i say that is bc NcWest is doing internal test atm on AION and about to start friends and family testing, plus AION is set to come out this fall for us sooooo we still have some time

to bad for Brazil and all them =/ they have to wait tell like 2010 or was it 2011

This was the game I was waiting for since over a year ago, but since NCSoft is a big shitty company, we probably won't get to see this game in 2009. It has been released in korea for months already. Unfortunately by the time we actually get to play it in the US, the game will have already been out for a year and a half. That's like 50 years in MMO years. Way past it's prime. The game already is just rehashed asian farm-your-ass-off-mmo (which I love mind you), but it's nothing new. I can't see myself spending 50 bucks + 15 per month on a game that is a year and a half old. NCSoft is just not concerned with western markets for asian mmos, plain n simple. NCSoft is too big for their britches, if you ask me.

How did you get into the Chinese Open Beta?!? Don't you need a Chinese SSN or something goofy like that?

erm do you know anything about this game???? its not a grinder at all its nothing like typical Korean game, they made it to fit more the western style of play.

think of it how i think they put it...its like a mix of L2 and WoW the it has the PvP aspects of L2 witht he guild owning forts and what no but the PvE like wow.

So befor putting down a game try it for yourself..... and i posted how to get into the china OBT

Also its in friends and family mode atm at NcWest AION is ment to come out like in th fall for us btw its hasnt been that long since it went live in Korea its been like erm 4 or 5 months now

So go to AIONSOUCE.COM for more info over the game

I've been following the game for quite awhile now as it was pretty much the only one I've looked forward to for almost 2 years lol! I'm not putting the game down, I'm putting NCSoft down! It will just be an old game by the time it's in English. That's kind of my piont is we CAN'T see for ourselves atm hehe. I know they said Fall of 2009, but for some reason I don't believe them :p :p :p I was also kinda assuming we wouldn't get to play in any of the other versions.

And the day an MMO comes out of Korea that is NOT a grindfest is the day the universe implodes in on itself, but I've never played it. You have so you would know better heheheh Hopefully I'll be able to jump in soon and see for myself lol

Thanks a ton for posting that link btw!!! :) :) :)

there only lines if your playing during high pop times which for on the weekends and during our nights......

and yes AION isnt a grind fest like RF or L2 was its kinda like WoWs lvling in away still takes some time but they made it where non Hard core ppl can lvl up and keep up.

BTW China OBT ends April 16th so that means NA/EU should start to hear when we will start heaving our preview events for AION!!!!

btw the game already in english???? like I said they are doing a internal friends and family testing ATM at NcWest which is the NEW NC company that be running NA/EU version of AION.

You do know thats how all games are they release by area to area they dont do it all at one time since that does cost alot of money, the Korean AION i think ended and went like like in October or November, then China took like erm a month or less to do Internal test then i think CBT started like Jan. OBT started April 7th for us but April 8th in china since they are a day ahead of us.

Theres a reason the Chinese OBT didnt last long like Korea is bc they want tto get AION out there befor the new vamp Version of the WoTLK trys to make it in China, also there really now flaws so far since the Korean version they fixed alot of the stuff so the Chinese OBT is going VERY smoothly.

Ok one last thing is that Korean and the NA/EU are NcSoft MAIN targets where AION can make them or break them, like its been stated on many sites and fansites AION isnt a normally korean can they westernized this game alot to break the Korean grinder mold. So if you can get in befor OBT is over I hope you enjoy the game like many of us are.......btw the UI is kinda simple and easy to use like in WoW

I just got into the Chinese open beta last night and played for a few hours up to level 5, no daeva status yet =(. So far I really enjoy this game, the visuals are amazing, except for the water effect which is being difficult for my computer for some reason. The movement is really nice for Korean mmo and the mission/quest system is pretty nice too even though all I've gotten to was go kill X amount of Y but I'm sure that gets better. So far I can't wait for 4Q 2009 to get around I can def see myself leaving wow for this game. See everyone in the Abyss!

So just to get this straight, if you play on the Chinese OB you have to be able to read Chinese right? I mean there is no English client version for the time being?
