so i just watched the last ep of Air Gear with english voice overs by funimation....omg i think im going to cry it was so bad. I wish they would just let sights stream it but put commercials in the anime or something would be a whole lot better
Well look at it this way, Funimation caters to people with such lack of taste that they actually go out of way to remove the taste of things because it might displease or confuse those people. Kind of like a restaurant which puts ketchup and jelly beans on every dish indiscriminately on how good it originally was or how badly the flavor will match. I mean, granted some people have odd tastes but they're obviously not going for quality TV.
I actually really liked the Manga but can't even find an english sub version of the anime after ep 20-whatever-it-was.
the anime only goes up to ep 20 or so, where he makes the jump over his friends cause the anime wasnt popular in japan =(
not a fan of useless fanservice that's not even funny or tactful. he rollerskates and dreams of having sex with some pink haired tramp. I think the love story that is soooo lacking is what turned me off. If your going to add it at least make it work.
