So, here is when I grow sick of people saying 'I wish we had snow'. Last night we had a blizzard followed by an ice storm. I shovelled when I got home yesterday (after an already incredibly exhausting upper body workout at the gym), and there was about 4-5 inches of snow. I shovelled my sidewalk and driveway (my guess is that my driveway is 70 feet, supported by my mother's thoughts as well) and felt like death...

So guess how happy I was around 6am when my mother woke me up to go outside and shovel! I was still in an excrutiating amount of pain, but I sucked it up and went outside to shovel...

I was shovelling white pavement. Before I went inside (after giving up, shovelling my front walkway and half of the driveway), I somehow gathered enough energy to test my curiosity. I jumped about 1 foot into the air, my 200-215 pounds slamming into it. It didn't even leave an imprint. It took me using my ice pick and my shovel on both arms as support, launching myself into the air and slamming myself down into the crap I used to call 'snow'. I left about 1/4mm (22.5 mm to an inch appx) of an imprint in it.

I just had to vent. I somehow managed to get cuts on my wrist from my coat chafing me... thats how bad it was. That and I actually just justified about 5 minutes of my time typing this...

For the record.... there was 3-5 solid inches of 'snow' on the ground in the morning. I had to go around with the ice pic to smash it up before i shovelled.

This insightful look into 'Mother Nature is a Bitch-Whore' is brought to you by Brown McCoy... And probably global warming.

I just posted this because I was frustrated from shovelling ice. I'm simply going to close it since realistically... there's no reason for it and not really a discussion thing...
