    It's all about style.

Most fantasy rpgs have beastly women and buff dudes. Not sure what audience they're trying to target lmao.

Seriously. As a woman, I'm really happy to have a selection of female toons to play, rather than always having to play a male toon or the one female toon they threw in. But if you think I want to spend my fantasy gaming dollars running around as a "realistic" human woman who is way uglier than I look IRL, you've got to be kidding.

guess its personal prefrence, but I liked AoC better. Realistic graphics set in an unrealistic world.

although for all intensive purposes I think better graphics refers to ploygon count and other things like that.

Pretty sure there weren't along of women going around swinging swords, so feeble women and strong men at the time would be realistic =P

This is fantasy, not history. And if women are going to swing swords and actually hack through bone and muscle, then they do need to have some muscles themselves, no? But they don't need to look like they're on 'roids, either.

Personally, I'd wear more armor than most of those women in MMOs, too. But I'm silly like that.

Total personal pet peeve here Kyoji, and I'm not normally the forum grammar police but this is always like nails on chalkboard for me, and I know you're smarter than this:
It's "for all intents and purposes". We usually hear it and not read it so it's easy to get confused, but if you think about it, it makes more sense the right way. :)

I have a piece of paper hanging on my wall from a major university that says I know how to history. And I say no, just no. :p

Funny how that works. I can't recall if there has been a successful MMO since.

Lol, did Shoji correct you on that too? If so, I missed it.

I just thought "intensive" purposes sounded funny.
