Anyone know of any games like this for PC? I know sports games like hockey, basketball etc.... are. At least they were years ago when I played them. I am thinking more along the lines of shooters.

Now that you can easily hook a tv up to a laptop or desktop without a problem i was thinking it might be nice if it would be possible.

  2. i dont understand what you mean....have like a picture in picture on your PC so you can be playing a game and have the baseball game on the screen at the same time?

  3. I think he means like back in original halo for example you could split screen on the computer iirc..

Oh man, I was just thinking about this for N64, I so want to do some co-op in perfect dark on 2 TVs. Counter-op would be amazing.

  5. i still done follow...but i doubt i have the answer anyways

is he talking about playing with 2 people and then have each persons screen on a different monitor?

  6. Possibly... Split screen is usually co-op where you split the screen either vertically or horizontally and two people usually play on the same screen

as to answer the thread.. I am not sure of what modern FPSs are both good and split screen for the PC, i've been playing a lot of RPGs lately :p

  8. Most FPSs that have been developed recently have been single screen for consoles, and I didn't know that any were split screen for PC.

precisely what I am talking about. I thought everyone know what split screeen was!!! Theres nothing like playing through any of the Halo games or GoW with a buddy in split screen. IMO

Does Tetris count? Or various system emulators?

Split screen really sucks. Not only would you have to deal with the additional processing strain, you'd also have to deal with multiple controls. If you use joysticks, you're better off using a console.

  12. I remember playing 007 forget what console.. 4 people on one screen..makes hiding impossible..

we also did two tvs and two n64..that was fun...doom i think.

  13. Golden Eye 64 best co-op Multiplayer game ever on the 64. That and the ORIGINAL Perfect Dark, before they fucked it up

Totally agreed, I didn't even bother watching reviews of PDZero just because it was made by xbox aria RARE.

Yeah I was thinking processor strain might be a problem with this. Had to see if any were out there though. I use xbox 360 controllers on my computer so it's not much different than playing on an xbox.

Just face a wall and stay still. I was the master of capturing the briefcase.
