Since Star Trek Online was announced recently, it seemed a good time to bring this site where the author is going through and reviewing episodes of Voyager and Enterprise, and the reviews are very entertaining, at the shows expense. The writers for those shows provided him with lots of stupidity to work with. At the very least you should check out his video reviews for Voyager and his comparison between it and Superfriends (1970's superhero cartoon). I did have a longer post about this, but the forum rollback swallowed it.
And now I bump this thread to announce to everyone that sfdebris has reviewed Threshold, widely regarded as the worst Voyager episode of them all. Usually also regarded as the worst Trek episode. It is also the name of a failed TV series based around aliens rewriting human DNA with an audio signal. A series produced by Brannon Braga.
star trek is lame...way to easy to pick a part. Lexx....is what sci fi should be. Campy..not taking them selves too seriously with some message. Hot babes...serious weapons....people die for no good reason...the best bad guys ever. Even the good guys blow up some planet almost every show.
Honestly, not to say I like Star Trek all that much, but I enjoy it more than firefly. I know lots of people who find sci fi dramas like that amazing, but honestly for some reason shows like gundam wing, firefly and BS G all bore the living crap out of me, it's kind of like watching Seven Pounds if it lasted 60 hours instead of 2.
