Domestic violence is no less ugly when it's a female assaulting a male... I found it a little disturbing the double standard displayed in the "article." She was referred to as "frisky," where I guarantee you if a guy had stabbed his girlfriend in the lip, he wouldn't have been labeled with anything as endearing as that particular adjective... I had a really hard time verifying this story from what I'd consider a reputable news source; I just found a bunch of circular posts all linking the exact same story (basically verbatim, sometimes rearranged slightly), so I'm not entirely convinced it's real.
haha i think the frisky comment was in reference to her sex drive not to her punching him the mouth but the fact is if your wife hits you/beats you/stabs you its not even worth calling the cops. your going to get a night in jail and she will get off anyway. the cops never believe the guy.

plus you have to remember if its a weekday then some wacky boy/girl, boy/boy, girl/girl and police action is happening. it's state law in Louisiana to have some national news on [insert color]-trash shenanigans at least once a week. it's an equal opportunity state that is mandated to commit acts against Darwin regardless of sex, creed, religion or celebrity status. one has to respect that degree of effort.
What an age we live in, perhaps in the future society will reach a less sexist standard that doesn't set women up to be insulted upon not granting consent. It's awkward but I can't imagine getting stabbed for it. This is probably how it played out.
