Not sure how many people still follow Destiny news or were actively playing while Xen didn't have a division for it but there has been news for the upcoming Destiny 2. Nothing 100% official but fairly close. In summary, Activision Blizzard held their conference call for investors yesterday and it was answered that Destiny 2 is slated for a 2017 release. On-going there has been a lot of speculation that the platforms this time around might include a PC launch since the older consoles have been phased out of production (at least they weren't included in Rise of Iron). Xen always had an issue with Destiny due to the console split (some of us being on PS3, PS4, X1, X360) which was a huge limiting factor for forming a division for it. Hopefully with a PC launch we could form a division for what I considering one of the best multiplayer PvE shooters in recent years. Is there anyone else looking forward to this as much as I am? How much of a FPS division do we even have left for these kinds of things? Thoughts? Also if you never got into Destiny, I'll post some of the highlights of the last game (spoiler: its the raids).
Im excited for it. I played Destiny quite a bit, though not so much lately after I fully geared in Rise of Iron expansion. I am sure I will be playing Destiny 2 for years on end and if it comes to PC I will be playing it there.
Source: https://www.vg247.com/2017/03/23/le...veals-september-release-date-pre-launch-beta/ Destiny 2 Poster got leaked. Reveals September release date and possible beta testing. PC release looking pretty possible at this point as well. More news to come.
I played Destiny on my Xbone before I was like fuck this consoul It was fucking amazing. Just all my people are here not there.
Well hopefully if it is on PC we can get all of the crew in one place. I know last time we talked about Destiny, we had people on different consoles and widely different times/away from TS which makes it hard to organize as a group.
Sorry about not being able to join in yesterday Enigma. : P Wife just came home and wanted to hang out so I was just finishing up my last RoI token for the achievement. Finally finished up 100% for Destiny achievement wise - just need to start working on my book now for that shirt : P
Source: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1356579 ((STILL RUMORS)) From the creators of Destiny, a highly acclaimed game, the extremely anticipated sequel is coming up. A first person action shooter that places you in an epic adventure through the Solar System. The last city on Earth has fallen before an overwhelming invasive force under Ghaul, the towering commander of the Red Legion. Guardians are running out of power, and the few survivors have left. You will venture in mysterious, uncharted worlds from the Solar System to discover devastating weapons and combat abilities. In order to defeat the Red Legion and face Ghaul, you will need to gather the surviving heroes from the City and fight back together to claim back home. So the picture of Cayde-6 translates as "preorder and get early access to the beta" (I assume it will go public as in Destiny 1 at some point) and the Cayde-6 is as we know a preorder bonus too. The same price of any normal game released wherever you live. I think it is $60 for Americans? Typical AAA price unless you want to buy extra in advanced or not.
That's alright. We ended up getting a full crew 10-15 minutes later and beat the raid that night. Will you be on tomorrow evening (I can game 8pm EST till 12am EST) for the 390 Vault release? As Riot said, $60 for base game. $40 for season pass. Or buy them in a bundle pre-order for $100 and get a couple legendary level items at launch for free. Sucks that it is so much, but it is the same price as any AAA first person shooter game these days. Battlefield is $100+, CoD is $100+. Considering the price of MMOs these days with either $15 a month or microtransactions to do anything it is actually a bit cheaper overall than an MMO. I am waiting to pre-order on PC till they put out the digital deluxe edition for PC, or we get confirmation that it wont be coming. I would real;ly like to get a division going around this game for PC since it is now on a platform we all have.
Nice. Ended up playing the raid Saturday morning since I finally had enough time compared to studying for an exam I had yesterday every night of last week. Ended up doing both of the challenges with a PUG group with a little bit of wiping involved - missed the 2 minute mark on Deathsinger so I'll need to grab that one the next time it comes around. Fun being a sword bearing again and doing the bridge legit. Years since I did it last. Strange how quickly time flies. As for tonight, depends. : < One of my friends is thinking about playing some Vermintide tonight around 9 EST. But if he doesn't make it I'll likely hop on but he is pretty consistent so I won't say that I can make it. Ended up getting a physical copy on Amazon since I have amazon prime. Pretty good discount when order the more expensive versions of the game and I know I'll play the shit out of this one when it comes out this fall. Just need to get myself a new GPU between then and now. Waiting for more Vega information before I make my choice.
