    Greetings Citizens,
Happy anniversary, Star Citizen! Late November marks the end of Star Citizen’s original campaign. One year ago, Chris and the nascent development team broadcast a 24-hour event to push for funding for Star Citizen’s original stretch goals. The massive success of that event (and the overall campaign) prompted us to decide to make Star Citizen entirely backer funded… and it’s a decision we haven’t regretted!

This anniversary sale is a thank you for the tremendous support and dedication all our backers have shown to make this game a reality. Many backers have asked for an opportunity to pick up some of the limited ships offered earlier in the campaign, and so we are giving you that option today. But before we get to the ships, we want to be absolutely clear: purchasing additional ships is NOT necessary. Sales like this are about supporting Star Citizen, about offering additional ways to start the game and about helping us expand the overall vision… but nothing beyond a starter package will ever be necessary for a backer to get the full Star Citizen experience.

    ANNIVERSARY SALE

At the end of the original campaign, we introduced a second set of Star Citizen ships, designs we had been developing for deeper gameplay. Some of these ships, like the M50, have since been finished while others, like the Caterpillar, are still in development for a future multi-crew Arena Commander release (and in the longer term, the persistent universe.)

For Star Citizen’s first anniversary, these ships were brought back for another limited sale by popular demand. And for the second anniversary, we’re doing it again… along with some other limited edition favorites that backers have been asking for. For the next week, an armada of additional Star Citizen ships are available in the pledge store. It’s not every ship we’ve ever sold… but it’s close!

Unlike last year’s sale, ships this year will be available for a full week. If you’re interested in purchasing a Caterpillar, M50, Super Hornet or any of the others listed below then you have through Monday, December 1st to pick it up. In addition to these ships, we’re also making a ‘limited in number’ ship available next week. Details on this ship are also available below.

Finally, we’re ending the process with a much-awaited concept sale! On November 28th, we will launch the Anvil Carrack explorer concept sale. The Carrack will be available for $345, with LTI and the standard concept sale bonus features (in-game ship model and poster.)

I really want a carrack but that's just a bit much for me right now. I'd trade in my Super-Hornet for it too which means I would lose alpha access.

It may come out in a game package with alpha/beta access. The Redeemer did when it just came out a few weeks back.

I'm thinking I may trade up my Super Hornet and Redeemer for it if it does.

I'm actually interested in Star Citizen, I bought a M50 a while back. Debating on getting the Alien ship right now. Hope if I do, it's worth the extra 60 bucks xD

I just traded my super hornet for a Cutlass Blue. It seems like it's more versatile with similar firepower.

I think the cutlass will be a lot more fun than a super hornet but in a dogfight a super hornet will probably come out on top.

I am thinking of melting my super hornet for the carrack and keeping my Xi'an as my combat vessel

Yes, hornet is the best brawler but that's all it does. I like that the cutlass can really do a mix of everything and I don't need a big crew to use it effectively. It seems to have a lot of modularity to it. :)

I have my avenger. thinking of either picking up a Freelance Millitary with the extra jump drive, or possible the gladiator or a superhornet. haven't decided yet. stil looking at others. possibly a tracker hornet someone could use while I bounty hunt on my avenger. seems like a good combo
