So... who's getting/got the game and is interested in some collaborative level building and such?

It's a PS3 exclusive and supposed to the ps3's new poster boy (sackboy) so I highly doubt its going to be released for PC.

It's totally worth getting a ps3 though, games insanely fun.

LBP in summary is a 2d platforming game with an extensive creation toolkit allowing you to build and share your own levels.

It's the only game on the ps3 that interests me, so no, I won't be getting it.

PS3 seemed like it had a lot of potential, and I usually don't spring for the hindenburgs.

From what I've seen/heard/read/played first hand, the new MGS sucks, big time. Socom is the same damn game, and R&C is the only cool thing out of the list. Final Fantasy will eventually jump ship to 360. Until I can get a PS3 for 200-300 bucks and a few games that come with it, I'll never touch one.

On that note. LBP does look like fun, just not enough fun for me to lay downa whopping $800 on a PS3 when I can pay for my months rent and a weeks worth of groceries instead.

    yup

    80 gig PS3 = 399.00

    360 elite = 399.00

So I have no idea what you're talking about sam.

And MGS4 sucks....? says who? Socom is supposed to be the same game, people love it, why change it.

    PS3 400
    LBP 60
    Controller 60
    Cali STax 86
    Total 606USD

And that's for buying a 400 base cost system for 1 game, which would be pretty stupid IMO, so if it happens then yeah Sam is right, 730-800+
