    Hey guys,

As it seems that my gainward GTX 660 TI phantom is below BF4 recommanded specs (!!?) i might put it on my wife's computer (as she only play rift anyway) and upgrade mine.

I'm guessing, at the moment, the best gfx power/cost wise is the GTX 770 ? Or is there something better in terms of perf vs price ? Also, what brand's the best for the 770 ? Asus ?

Most of my PC is Asus ROG somehow anyway :
    - asus Z77 V LK with a 3570k upgraded to 4.2 ghz
    - G.Skill something 8 gb
    - Asus Xonar Phoebus (awesome sound)
    - Some special coolant for the CPU but i forgot what i put, i think a Scythe Ninja or equivalent
    - Case is a Cooler Master storm striker white

    Lemme know :D

This may sound like a strange remark but I would just wait till new technology to come out again. The 700s are rebrands and don't offer very much performance increase over the 600s. Money wise it is wiser sitting on current tech. and just not maxing things out.

    ^^^ What that guy said.

If you want to boost your performance get a 2nd 660 ti but it would be a waste to buy a 770 right now. Wait out until the next gen of cards come out and get a top of the line card instead of bottom of the barrel.... it will last a little longer at least. Push that CPU to 4.5 too....

What specifically is below the recommended spec for BF4 in your graphics card? This doesnt seem right to me...

EDIT: looked it up and Dice recommends having a GTX 660 or higher, as you have a 660ti you are good to go.

New Radeons soon (like a month?).

But if you're impatient $250 for a 760 is a pretty great deal.

Ah yeah i'm right at the recommended, so it's not too high... I think the gfx is the Achille's heel of my config.

I don't think i'll ever play above 1920x1080 i'm not really into big screens...

There's no point in spending money in the 700 series, the 660ti is pretty good, I'd just wait until the next gen comes, in my case, I have a 670 and I'm sure I won't change it at least until what should be the 900 series.

660 TI will run BF4 on Ultra no problem. It's an amazing card for the price.

Well, lets be specific here. It was a good card, a year ago it was a good deal and a smart choice. And it should run BF4 adequately.
But now, for someone buying a card, it's a terrible choice because the 760 is the same price and much better.
