    ArcheAge Online
+ Interactive: Unparalleled world interaction with the ability to climb trees, destroy and modify terrain, plant trees, build bridges over rivers, etc.
+ Skill-based System: Rather than classes you pickup skills from skill trees ( Combat - Close combat // Witchcraft - Debuffs, Crowd control // Invincibility - Tanks skills, all for defense and survivability // Will - Magical damage, magic defence, opening portals // Necromancy - Necromancer. Period // Wild nature - Ranger, taming skills // Magic - Magic // Assasin - Burst damage pvp build // Romance - Buffs (you sing, you play) // Love - Heal and resurrect allies ). 120 Classes essentially.
+ Player Housing and Guild Cities: From a plethora of styles ranging from western castles and egyptian stone to asian fortresses you can customize the layout and arrangement of your castles and houses.
+ Siege Warfare: Build up your arsenal and assault enemy keeps and castles
+ Water Combat & Shipwrights: Build a raft or a Man O War and set sail on the ocean to the hidden continents exploring, building, pillaging or fighting off the sea creatures lurking below the watery depths. They even have a giant Kraken with more to come. You can also dive down to find suken ships, treasures, and far more dangerous things...
+ Air Combat and Travel: Using gliders you can shoot enemies or use them for transportation.
+ Giant World Bosses and Monsters for you to fight
    + Realistic Graphic Art
+ Criminal System: Created by the players for players. If caught and killed by an NPC while you have a bounty you will be judged by your peers and if found guilty sent to prison where you must escape.
+ Pirates: You can become a pirate outlaw after acquiring too many negative points. Pirates live by a different set of rules than everyone else!
+ Very good customization with the ability to not only add scars, tattoos, and paint but select where on the body or face it should be applied via a 4 way slider.
+ Player driven economy with localized goods.
+ Very Advanced crafting & gathering system: Breeding, Planting, Growing, Excavating, Mining and much more can be done to gather resources for the construction of ships, vehicles, aircraft, mounts, food, underwater gear, weapons, jewelry, clothing, armor, potions, and much more.

    Everquest Next
+ Destructible Terrain & Layered Terrain: You can destory or dig your way to find levels upon levels of terrain and hidden dungeons that change all the time.
+ Unique Facial Expressions: With the graphics and art style detail of the faces can show a very broad array of expressions.
+ Player Housing: Build and customize your house any way you want. Just do not let it get destroyed by a giant monster!
+ Unique Public Quest Style System: EQN will allow you to literally shape the continent by interacting with NPCs which could have a different effect every time. Take months to work with others to build or destroy cities and forever shape the terrain and game of EQN!
+ Parkour Style movement: Rather than getting stuck by small rocks and terrain you can leap over it automatically, slide down mountain sides, and vault over walls.
    + Cartoon Graphics
    + Awesome stylized art
+ GW2 style combat with various skills, some of which depend on your weapon. Limited skill list.
+ Non-linear questing: Monsters gravitate and move based on player interaction. No experience is the same.
+ No levels: You can team up with your friends regardless of time played.
+ Everquest Landmark: Players will be able to create a character, go out into the world, explore the landscape, discover materials and crafting recipes, stake a claim and then start building.
+ Non conventional class system: Start with one of 8 classes and customize your character with weapon choices to make a total of 40 various class options.

    Elder Scrolls Online
+ All 9 Provinces opened up including Black Marsh, Cyrodiil, Elsweyr, Hammerfell, High Rock, Morrowind, Skyrim, Summerset Isles, and Valenwood so expect a lot of terrain types and scenery variations.
+ GW2 Style PvP with a massive zone filled with castles and PvEvP objectives.
    + First Person Skyrim-style combat
    + Epic Storyline

    Blade and Soul
+ Anime Style Graphics (Like Final Fantasy CGI)
+ Most badass combat system of all the games. It's an action oriented, parkour, ninja jumping/flying/flipping experience
    + Combo System (ala Tekken)
+ FPS style combat with some tab targeting for early leveling
+ Ranked Tournaments, 1v1, Ladders, and Reputation Point PvP
+ Catering to a PvP crowd just as much as PvE
+ Non-traditional roles including: Blade Master, Kung-Fu master, Assassin, Destroyer, Lyn-Blade Master, Summoner, and Force Master

More, including Black Desert, Elder Scrolls Online and Wildstar, coming soon. If you can think of anything to add post it below whether it is a game or content I missed posting for a game.

EQ:Next looks good, it is at the top of my list. Will they be the first to not under deliver?

It's a good list Kyoji. I won't say TL:DR, but it would helpful to create bullets with categories to compare/contrast the qualities of each game. Like

    Crafting

ArchAge: Blah blah blah crafting system
EverquestNext: Blah blah blah crafting system

On a personal note (that is in directed at MMO companies in general and not at anyone here) these games are so far off from their release dates it just not worth salivating over them. I got burned by GW2 and SWTOR by following their releases for years in advance. I watched every video, read every forum, followed every rumor, and waited for hours in line like a sucker for the shiny Collector's Edition boxes. So, from now on fuck that. Wake me when these games have an Open Beta and we can talk about "how good they're going to be".

U can add World of Darkness too Kyoji even if info is very very scarce. U can also add Tomb Raider / Ninja movements as a bullet point for EQN.

EQN / Wildstar are the 2 bringing most of my attention (even tho i don't fancy cartoonish graphics somehow) archeage maybe but it's a K-port and L2/TERA kinda killed the genre for me. TESO is still a mystery so far.

Star Citizen and World of Darkness are a LONG way off. Not worth comparing because no one should wait for them. Star Citizen has an estimated release of 2015. I agree they are interesting games, but TESO, ArcheAge, Wildstar, EQN all plan to release relatively soon. A year difference in release date is huge.

It is understandable why you feel games like Aion and perhaps even TERA leave a bad taste in your mouth (I disagree with TERA because I think it was more fun than any other game released including GW2, SWTOR, etc and L2 was loved by millions so I am not so sure about that one either). Although I will remind everyone that saying you will not play another game founded in Korea is like saying you will never play another game founded in Europe or the U.S. because of the failed games of GW2, SWTOR, WAR, etc. If you ignore ArcheAge and decide to play EQN because one is founded in Korea then I think that is a blind judgement as EQN has just as much of a chance to fail, if not more than ArcheAge because at least with ArcheAge the game is already out in Korea so you can see what the game is exactly. For EQN you have to hope the developers deliver on their promise of a quality game. A promise no developer can seem to keep these days.

EQN, TESO, etc may very well be good games. I am hopeful and will probably try one or more of them based on release timeframes, but I wouldn't count ArcheAge out so easily.

Also, Blade and Soul is another game coming out that might be good with action combat and world PvP.

Lastly, all the companies are legitimate power houses. ArcheAge is being released by Trion (RIFT), Blade and Soul by NCSoft (City of Heroes), TESO by Bethesda (Elder Scrolls), and EQN by Sony (ok, so maybe Sony wasn't a good example here).

    I hate you Kyoji.

I was pretty convinced I was going to play TESO... but now looking at Archeage and EQ-N..... I'm not quite sure.

....errrrr.... Archeage STRIKE 1 being a Trion game. I'm still being billed for a Rift account one of my kids started with no way to stop the billing process. I'll have to cancel my debit card to make it stop and that's a huge pain in the ass.

After looking through the reception of Archage in Korea a lot of people aren't happy with how it is being handled sadly. I'll be interested if that is what is causing the delays. I think I may just throw my hat back into the Wildstar race until Camelot Unchained gets here.

Wildstar: Release Spring 2014. Larger scale beta testing begins end of 2013. Expected it to be like an old school themepark MMO like WoW Vanilla or Everquest 2. Sigh, I wish I could just leap ahead ten years and get my VRMMORPG now.

I'll probably try Archeage, play EQ:Next, and then play Camelot Unchained for a long time. I wish I would've joined the Kickstarter. :(

I was generally surprised about how many people in Xen showed a lack of interest in Camelot Unchained. We have roots in almost every RvR MMO while our founding game is Planetside which is pretty much the FPS counter-part to DAoC. Not everyone is a kickstarter fan which is fair enough but here is an MMO that is finally promising RvRvR combat again and it goes unnoticed by most. I just want something to play...this downtime is killing me.
