I was wondering why there wasn't one of these already up with all the new games coming down the pipeline. Well, Gamesrader.com posted a pretty good summary of upcoming games and I wanted to know to get a benchmark of which ones most interest XoO members, and which is likely to get a supported division one day. The poll maxes out at 15, so I left out ones some for different reasons. GW2 (we already have a division), Blade & Soul (it's been out and never picked up), FFIV (already pretty likely to have a group), Salem (who cares?), etc. http://www.gamesradar.com/25-new-mmorpgs-horizon-2013-and-beyond/ I'm really looking forward to WildStar and Firefall. I've had enough of the ultra serious for a while, and I'd rather spend the hours I have for MMOs on something that can make me feel accomplished with minimal grind.
Why does neither thread have Star Citizen as an option? And don't say time, you've got Titan on there, which doesn't have a release date and might not even be an MMO anymore.
Kyoji's thread was started in March. A lot has happened since then, including E3, so I thought we should have a new one. Why no Star Citizen? Cause it's a given. XoO will play that game and it will be glorious. I played the FireFall Beta this weekend and was thoroughly underwhelmed. I liked combat and the classes. I hated traveling from one event to the next, the crafting system, and the lack of direction. Felt like an Alpha test of what could be a good game, but no way is it good enough now to be worthy of a beta WITH a cash shop. Still waiting for my WildStar beta key.
