A division is currently awaiting approval, although it would most likely be handled very differently than past MMO division which often collapsed under their own internal XOO weight due to disinterest and flaky members who weren't interested in the long term. It would also be pretty clear that FF:ARR is primarily a PvE game. Edit: www.zantetsuken.net is a great resource.
I have already PM'd Q about making a division about this. It started as primarily a PvE game and the majority of its members are mostly into the PvE but there is PvP aspects put into it. It seems that Yoshi has something up his sleeves about PvP. He promises that PvP will not be an afterthought. I want to make the division PvX and have dedicated teams for both sides of the game. I do want to sign XoO up for PvP tournaments when/if it comes to that point of the game. I currently have about 10 FFXIV veteran players on standby waiting to join XoO should a division become approved. I would like to know get a head count as to how many already XoO members are really interested in this game. Pls PM me or whatnot so that I can get my numbers straight. I imagine that most Legacy players are interested in rolling on an older server with their previous characters rather than starting fresh?
Yes we will be rolling in older servers. All new members are allowed to join Legacy Servers. But Legacy members cannot join new servers.
Balmung Excalibur Hyperion Sargantas I believe are the NA Legacy servers, I vote Balmung because it has a wonderful name and I believe it is the second largest NA server by default after Sargantas.

Everyone will have 1 free server for a limited time....This will be sending out the Server Xfer applications during Beta Phase 3.
