quoted from forbes There’s no gameplay, of course, but we do get a glimpse at the apparently very twisted type of horror we’re going to find in the game. A “hero” perhaps can be seen assembling something out of barbed wire, while three distinct “bad guy” types are glimpsed as well. A hulking man has shards of broken glass sticking out all over his exposed face and body. A four armed female creature rises from a bloody pool. A large figure wearing a safe on its head wields a massive hammer. Scary stuff. It should also be noted that The Evil Within is only published by Bethesda, not developed by them. Those duties fall to Mikami’s Tango Gameworks instead, so expect it to have more in common with Resident Evil than Fallout, if that wasn’t obvious already. In any case, the concept and live-action teaser have certainly piqued my interest. We’ll wait until next week when Bethesda’s marketing department IGN gives us more.
That actually look pretty interesting. I love myself a good horror, and asian-based horror and gorey stuff always seems so much more exciting these days.
