Before i get to tell about my build, want to thank Daz@Dazmode.com for providing us with WC parts in Kanata Land =]
Since this is my first WC build and was done on my main Gaming Machine, few parts are colour mismatched as i was in a hurry to finish.
Daz din't have some colours in stock, so i had to buy whatever was available.

Some of the issues i had with my build.

1st and most frustrating.
Whoever at EK designed those reservoir holders, had 2 left hands growing from his ass and needs to be shot on site =]
Alphacool ones are way better
Cause atm i have to use plastic zip ties to hold my reservoir as it is impossible to screw in those side screws.

2nd was pump placement and cosmos poor WC design.
Had to cut a big whole at the bottom section leading to 240 rad, to fit all the tubes.

3rd was my loop noise level.
Was pretty loud for few hour while i was bleeding the loop. Kept being loud until i added Daz Protector.
I call it "loop lube" now Cause as soon as i added it, my nose level went from pretty loud, to silent.

And thats about it. The system been running for almost a day now.
No leeks and damn good cooling. CPU Peeked at 60C-ish running prime 95 blend.
Now im waiting for either Titan LE, ATI 7990 that will come out Aprl.26th or 7xx Nvidia before i drain my loop and add a WC Video Card in.

NICE alot of things in here i have been eyeing for my next build.

Questions/comments about all i quoted above:

1 How good do you feel the Noctua are, compared to the gentle typhoons ? Are the GT's really worth the price?
2 Same question about your radiators
3 did the Daz Protector really change the sound that much? I run pure distilled water myself, and altho the pump is loud because it isn't hard mounted, even then it can still be quite loud.
4 You know, i added that Cosmos II to cart on a few websites like half a dozen times, even attempted to buy it once, but shipping turned me off. How do you like it overall ? I ended up deciding if i was going to spend over $100 for a box, it was going to be the amazing Silverstone TJ07.


Also, i am waiting for the 7990 to come out next week, will be getting that immediately. I am planning to cram it into a Bitfenix Prodigy when haswell gets released in june. Taking my time and going to build the PC right the first time, tucked and customer length cables, high quality fans, all the right fitment of everything; thus all the questions.

1. The Noctuas are used cause they were leftovers from my air cooling days =]
And my bottom radiator is for low rpm fans.
I would not suggest on using them in WC build.
If you can, get GTs http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...Fan_-_2150_RPM_D1225C12B6AP-45_New_Speed.html
You can regulate their speed with a fan controller, which i also suggest you get. Something like NZXT Sentry 2 is good choice.

2. For rads, i didn't have much choice due to limited supply in Canada.
But i did want to go with full XSPC build.
I am pretty happy with my x2 rads so far and they all are somewhat similar in performance.

3. Im telling you the truth man, i was amazed. It went from pretty noisy to completely silent.
Not sure what happened, but im loving the quietness.
But im betting that any anti bio liquid like daz protector will have that effect on your noise level.

4. I would not go with cosmos 2 case if i knew id be water cooling.
Also after working with it, id advise you to stay away from it for WC purposes =]
Go with Silverstone TJ7-10 ish or NZXT Phantom 820 or corsair 900D case.

Make sure you pick fully modular power supply then. Silverstone is a good choice.
For nice cables, use Bitfenix Alchemy. With fully modular psu, you'll need fewer cables and your case will look gorgeous.
Gonna be doing it myself as soon as i get some spending money =]

Definitely seems that all arrows point to Scythe fans. Just gotta get my case (monday i think) and start taking measurements for radiators !

I love my scythe ap-15s.

Huge fucking case. I remember when it came out.

 

Oh, i do remember hearing about that, guess i should order 4 of em now.

AP-45 is better then AP-15 right ? just use a fan controller and dial it into what i want and all that i assume.

Then again, i wonder if there are any alternates, as i dont need the fans until june for haswell.

 

I am using AP-45 with a fan controller to lower rpm abit for noise.
Others recommend koolance fans, corsair s120 performance fans

 

Looking good Doxy. I'm still waiting on the H320 from swiftech to get watercooling going. I'm likely going to add a copper alphacool block to my gtx 670, use black compression fittings and white hose. Probably be a few months before any of that happens though. I've always wanted the warp core reservoir but really have no good reason to bother ordering one.

Did you run the whole loop outside the system first?

No i didn't run the loop outside the system. But i did use external power supply to test the loop without turning my whole pc on.
Oh an alot of paper towels =]

 

QDC for when you decide to add video cards in the future. Should make expanding/changing out the card more pleasant.

 

I know about QDCs, but i was at my budgets limit pretty much. So i had to cut em out for now.
