Only because the most recent Elder Scrolls games featured the nords and dunmer. That was a really dumb choice. The Devs know that Ebonheart is heavily favored in population, and they have hinted that you may be able to pick one race and later switch to another faction.
Thanks for the heads up. I am pretty torn between the factions tbh. Dark Elves will always have a special place in my heart due to Morrowind, yet Redguards, and Orcs have always been a secondary favorite. Ehggghghh I hope this game is good.
Altmer or Bosmer for me. My 1st character in Oblivion and Skyrim was a Wood Elf Ranger/Thief/Assassin type. Depending on how things play out though I'll be going dedicated healer, so either Dunmer, Breton, or Altmer (if their are any type of racial bonuses) will be fine with me. My first impression was going Aldmeri Dominion, I kinda like their back story and what they are fighting for, plus 2 of my fave races are in there. In that interview Mo posted -- the dev said (or chose not to comment on..) races might not be limited to factions, although not sure how that'll work.. its towards the latter part of the interview.
I signed up and was also told that my application has an excellent chance of being selected for beta access. Anyone else get told that from the site? Maybe they just say that to everyone
In the little meter that rates the chance of your application being accepted, it said "Excellent". I hope that shit is accurate lol. Thanks for posting this Twilight
— Elder Scrolls Online Beta Details and More "Without giving away a definite date, Sage said that the first wave of beta invites should be rolling out very soon." Edit: Also, according to the lastest Bethesda podcast, the inventory system is a combination of slots and weight limit systems. And here's a breakdown of the death system provided by a Reddit user:
FINALLY SIGNED ^^ guess it worked. Due to some website problem i coudnt sign up. Guess peeps outside the US can sign up too ^^
Seems if you filled out everything and included a lot of games played and beta'd plus a nice college scholarship application then it will be "excellent". I'm excited anyway.
I signed up. I played a lot of Morrowind and Oblivion. I played a ton of Oblivion. I still plan to get Skyrim, but these days my game time is pretty much limited to D3. I am pretty excited about this game and hopefully will be able to get in beta.
^^^^ Without a doubt. I probably won't care too much but will be a tad disappointed at the failing of it. If this fails they NEED to add coop to their next elder scrolls game! That is really what I care about more than anything.
