While the last superman movie with brandon roth was awful I still have hope for this. It sounds like Russell Crowe is doing the voice for Jor-El. I'm not sure how Henry Cavill will do as the man of steel but I really enjoyed him in The count of Monte Cristo.

I usually HATE the superman movies. But after finding out that Christopher Nolan is working on this film, I am very much intrigue.
we can only hope its good. I mean its fucking superman!!! Someone has to finally make a good Superman movie. I keep going to each new one and at best they been just ok or just bad.
Yea it annoys the shit out of me. Also the last one was a bit WTF ... I dunno reason I hate superman is because hes "too strong" and many movies tend to focus on his weakness only being kryptonite. I want to see SM go up against some twisted fucks of villians and make hard choices. Instead of focusing on making him weak with the stones and seemingly making him mortal with the end of the movie showing "oh he survived!", I want to see him make mistakes he cant change where as he fails to save some people or such. The man is Honorable but not that bright. SM has always been emotionally unstable and we all know his love for Metropolis is what keeps him at bay. What hurts him more is his failures and the fact that hes "alone" in the world. I dunno if this turns out to be another "oh he manages to save EVERYONE without any death! > Bad guy nearly kills him with kryptonite > happy fucking ending" I am gonna hate it.
Superman vs The Elite is an animated movie. I haven't seen it yet and I'm meaning to but it sounds like what you are looking for.
Nothing much to see yet, but I'm hopeful. And I also enjoy the animated movies that have been coming out this past 5 years or so. Superman vs the Elite. Superman/Batman Apocalypse. Superman/Doomsday. 'Superman/Batman Public Enemies' is... decent (cheesy ending). Though the Batman ones I find I like more (can't wait for part 2 of The Dark Knight Returns).
Better trailer Even more pumped to see the movie after that trailer. I really liked watchmen so I have some faith in Zack Snyder. Also, watched "superman vs. The Elite" yesterday and I actually quite enjoyed it. I was a little skeptical going in because it is a cartoon but it didn't end bothering me.
