Final Fantasy XIII

Anyone know the expected realease date for Final Fantasy 13 for PS3 in the US?

 

Unannounced. It was promised in Japan late 2008.
However, it is in the late beta stages and is nearing completion.

 

I love these games can't wait

The final fantasy series has been my main reason for owning Playstations. I can't wait.

 

For those that are still not aware, FFXIII is being ported to the 360 as well.

hmmm, might have to get myself a PS3 just for that... Havent played a FF game since X-2, even though ive enjoyed from 7 > X-2 (except for 8, that was just crap imo...)

 

idk the 1st FF i played was FF9 and then i played 1-8, 10, 10-2, 12, tactics, etc.. but i did like 8 and a few parts from the others. i don't really have a favorite. 13 looks bad-ass ^^

 

I really liked 10, even though many say they that that was one of the weaker ones. At times, the voice acting was overbearing but all-in-all I really liked the story and emotion of 10, and I liked having a lot to work for with the level-up grid. FF12 was really, really good as well. It took a bit to accustom myself to the new combat but the voice-acting and overall presentation was SUPERB imho. That was an incredibly epic game.

And yes. I greatly look forward to FF13. w00t for 360 getting a port lol when I heard that the day of Microsoft's press release I had to re-read and verify like 5 times to make sure it wasn't a troll.

@Cox -- I'm not surprised, there are many who just don't enjoy the FF's or RPGs in general for that matter. As you say, to each his/her own.

 

13 looks good, just hope it is longer than the last few

 

The problem I had with 10 is that the actors tried wayyyy to hard to lip sync. Which lead to Yuna saying the quickest OK and the most long drawn out sentences ever.

 

i havent played the last ones but my favorite was FF6.

i just hated FF 7 and 8, i dont know for some reason after i beat them! i hated the main characters and that is some what a game killer.

but what i realy want is a new Chrono Trigger! that is one of my favorite games of all times!

i still remember the day i bought it! that was a awesome game! in every aspect.

 

There was Chrono Cross, released on the Playstation. It was a pretty good game and had decent graphics for a PS1 title.
