    Hi. :)

Just curious if anyone else is. I used to run with a group of about six RL friends back in D2. Right now, I'm looking to find a good core group to run things with. I've had the opportunity to play the Open Beta and I really enjoyed it. It's nothing like D2 though mind you. I got about three characters to ~12. Sadly with just 1/3 of Act 1, the only real way to level is to grind out a little bit of the content.

All in all.. I think I'll stick with it for a while.. :)

Depending on GW2 release date, I will be picking it up. I got 4/5 characters to 13 on the open beta and had tons of fun.

Ill be playing D3 for a bit, need to upgrade my PC for Battlefield 3 and Planetside 2 so D3 should keep me going for a bit xD besides, D2 and LOD were awesome.. Used to have legit ~95 characters... Amazon, Barb, Sorc, Pally and a Necro all with top gear on Closed Battle.net

boy did i have too much time on my hands back then

I definitely will be. However, I'll probably play with some personal friends and work friends (since literally everyone at work will be playing). Fun guild runs should happen though, I'd definitely be game for some occasional shenanigans.

I won't be. I'm still kind of interested in it, but the click to move feels a little out dated and I'm not quite a fan of it anymore. To each their own!

More than likely will pick it up though, due to my bored level.

Thing is, Diablo, D2, LOD were all made by the Condor Team, NOT Blizzard, D3 is a watered down version of the game. No self assigned stats, everyone has the same spells. Blizzard ruins yet another game. Mythos is more like a Diablo 3 really.

Barring The Lost Vikings II, I've played every single game Blizzard has released since December 9th 1995, and I see no reason to stop now. They obviously don't need my money, but they'll get some of it anyways. They always do.

Funny thing is, back in early closed beta I think there were some semi-permanent skill choices (just plus respecs or something to that effect). Now, it's uh ... it reminds me of Guild Wars. Guess that's okay but I know at least one person for whom that takes the fun out of character builds for.

But yeah, I'll be playing it a bit. Don't know for how long. I am more interested in GW2 these days and shorter on time for both than I used to be.

I use to feel this way as well, they don't need my money - I sure as hell don't want to give it to them but somehow I always end up giving it to them. I haven't done so in a very long time, but I actually don't plan on doing it any time soon.

I hope everyone enjoys it though, I really wish I could have enjoyed my small beta time - but it didn't do much for me.

I have a feeling D3 will last as long as Starcraft 2, about a month.

Diablo is the best time killer when not playing your "main game" - right now its LoL, but I don't think Ill touch it once D3 is out.

I got suckered into a year-long wow sub for the express purpose of having beta access and not having to pay for the game....since I was going to be playing wow anyways.

That and I play a mmo also for making friends. I can only make so many friends. Can't leave them playing without me in TERA.
