Oh how I wish Square-Enix would make an MMO set in the Xenogears universe. Damn that would be nice.

Which was around the time of enix coming in tbh. Squaresoft was a fantastic company. Square enix is not.

 

Agreed. Squaresoft was a name that, if you saw it on a game, it was probably something amazing. The Square-Enix name however, is not so glorious or awe-inspiring.

Though, while we're on the topic, I still adore Square Enix. They might not be quite as amazing as they once were, but let's face it; Final Fantasy has dozens of installments... they have to be running out of ideas. Srsly.

 

True, they do have to be running out of ideas. I agree with that 100%.

Back on topic however, I'll pick up FFXIII-2 when it's bargain bin or Greatest Hits. I can't justify it any earlier I think.

 

From the content of thi thread it looks like this should be a decent place to throw my BB gift cards from christmas.

It was adorable.

Then I sacrificed my Caith Sith maliciously to infuse its power into another monster.

 

I thought everyone would like to know that I have officially 100% completed the game. I believe PS3 users would call it 'getting Platinum'. Every side quest, every fragment, every achievement. ~73 hours.

...and all I want to do is start a new game. I think I might need help. ;-;

X-2 was a fucking joke. People bitched and moaned about the fact that Tidus dies at the end of X and theres no happy love story at the end. So they pulled something out of their asses and made X-2. Which MAKES SO SENSE if you follow the laws of the previous games. X: There are some powerful entities. They are called AEONs. AEONS are stuck in an eternal sleep. To defeat the greater evil they need to be woken up and killed. Tidus is a manifestation of the AEONS dreams. AEONs die... Tidus dies... GAME OVER U SAVED THE WORLD!

X-2: oh shit Tidus just reappeared in the water... wtf real Tidus died 2k years ago... Dream Tidus died cus the AEON died.... where did this asshole come from?


I liked XIII to some point I just didnt like how lazy they got with the game. There was almost nothing to do with the game and it was retarded easy. But thank you Secksy for your review this will actually give me the urge to pick up the game. xD

I would pick up XIII-2, but I'm currently playing through Xenogears.
