With Aion (NA) going F2P and some exciting changes with the most anticipated patch in Aion's history, I am sure we will see some returning friends and hopefully new ones as well. The Rally the Troops event is a great way to lead us into 3.0!

I have a question: My computer can just barely run GW at highest graphics (it was never meant to be a gaming platform). Would I be able to enjoy Aion with such limitations?

If so, I shall consider trying this... trial.

ehhhhh..... i dont think you can, if you are able to it will be on really really low settings.

Im assuming you have at least 4 gigs of ram, but the biggest downfall is your graphics card. Everything else though you would be ok to run aion.

 

Pretty graphic and ram intensive game.

8 gigs, and yeah, this is the computer I got as a gift for school. It's amazing except for its built-in-to-the-motherboard-because-it's-an-asshole graphics card, and I have 0 knowledge when it comes to hardware, so I have no idea how to even begin upgrading a PC.

 

Oh I guess it's not going free yet, this is just a 14 day free reactivation scheme to get everyone to resubscribe for a free level 50 daevonian armor set haha.

 

Its probably not worth upgrading, let alone if even possible depending on if the gift was a prebuilt machine from a vendor.

Are they changing everything into the "Vision" trailer? I remember reading an article stating that they expect the game to reach that level at 3.0.

 

The Vision trailer was just that ... a vision of what they've been working on and give an idea of what to expect. A lot of things were added since 2.0 already and a lot more to come in 3.0
I know the swimming part will not be in 3.0 (thank god)

At least it gives the "returning" players a chance with double exp to catch up to the others , and giving out a free miragent set if you sub or have an active sub
