    This blows my mind.

You can grow asparagus in it.

I can think of something else Id like to try and grow.

WTB Martian potting soil...and grow lights.

Not that surprising..this just confirms whats been said already. Nice to have the confirmation.

The real news will be if they find evidence of past life...I hope they do. A few books will need to be rewritten.

We should grow asparagus on Mars to make the kids want to go to farther away planets

At first when I read this I thought you said the real new would be past life and their books

    Its been a long day

You should eat your veggies you know. They care for you.

  12. Well, atleast we can grow something there. I'd say that could be the foundation of terraforming and colonizing the planet by, say, 2030-2040 (most likely not, but then again, I like to dream about space things)

I think it would be awesome if we could live there within any of our lifetimes but probably not

200 years after they colonize mars..they will revolt..and split from us...then come back and invade us..from Mars!!!

We have met the enemy!!..and we are them!! - pogo

    Step 1: Colonize Mars
Step 2: Send a guy named "John Stalvern" to Mars.
Step 3: He is the demons
    Step 4: ????
    Step 5: Profit!

So we confirmed that Martian soil could potentially grow plants. Cue mass of speculative fiction about Mars in the coming years.

We should grow asparagus on Mars and sell it to stupid people for $1000s and then maybe make a small profit
