So do you need a bluetooth device that adds USB to your computer? Or do you need a bluetooth device that plugs in via USB so that you can connect game controllers, mice, keyboard, and audio devices?

Is it a reliable build quality?
And does it support version 2.1 spec and enhanced data rate?

Cause if so a link would be nice :)

    Sure!

    1. Its a molded piece of plastic that runs cool during transfer... I expect it will last basically forever.

    2. Good question. No. Its 2.0. What does that mean? Not much, it means that some devices may or may not take a few extra seconds (like 2 or 3) to pair the first time. Also, it is slightly less secure from outside attack compared to v2.1 at release. That is now a moot point, both are equally vulnerable. Im not aware of any additional differences. Oh, other than EDR- EDR was optional on v2.0, I understand that it is standard on 2.1? I havent confirmed that, so dont hold that as gospel.

2a. This does have EDR. Confirmed.

    3. Sure! Its the standard chinese no name half-mood shaped import dongle.
It comes with drivers. DO NOT install them, they are likely spyware/adware/blatant malware. Just use the windows built in stack. It recognizes it as 2.0 with EDR capability. Confirmed common linux distros and Mac do, as well.
