    knew they would go quick. there were lots left in Canada yesterday as well, no more though.

    I wonder when the next round will come out. I have a hard time swallowing a $600 bill on a Radeon card though.

    You should see the quad 7970 scores... When the guy overclocked them to 1.8GHz core speed :eek:

    Yep, The 7970 is the best card on the market right now. They also overclock very high, and if you cool them well can go even higher. As you put more voltage and better cooling the scaling just goes up and up. Unfortunately, they hit a brick wall and cant give any more performance because no CPU available is fast enough to run 4 of these that are overclocked. An Intel SandyBridge-E @ 5.6GHz cant process fast enough when 4 of these cards are at 1.53GHz or higher.

    That's like what 2 - 3 car payments hell runt / mortgage for some... seriously no fucking way ... love my gaming but love having a roof over my head, lights, heat, food, cable tv / internet and a ride more ;)

    PC gaming is an essential service, fits right in between roof and food. Heat and lights come second, you can put a sweater on and game in the dark!

    While I would love to be able to justify $550+ for a video card, I just can't. My Radeon HD 5770 is holding up just fine right now. When this drops to $350ish then I'll pick it up. :p

    Agreed. Its just... so expensive. I dont need it. I want it, I long for it.... I just dont need it.
