Well they done the same to L2 lol. As I said int he other post seem also NcWest is only going to host NA servers since from what iv read EU AION server will be hosted by another company like Innova hosting L2 EU servers
Interesting to see Aion adopt the F2P model. I honestly didn't see that coming so soon. Whatever happened to their "Vision" trailer anyways? Are they still working towards any of that?
Ah so it's actually live? Did they follow through with that trailer? Housing? Huge golem monstrosities? Insane graphics upgrade?
What promise? NcSOft never promised anything that video was a vision what they want to add in AION or what they hope AION will look like in 3.0 updates. Yes there was the graphics update in like 2.5 (i think). Housing and mounts was added in 3.0 and some other things. the newer update adds a bit more PvP stuff/fixs and some more fluff stuff
I never once said the word promise. Good to know they're still adding stuff. I could never get into it myself, but that Vision trailer certainly caught my eye (as well as the rest of the internet it seemed at the time).
obviously they couldn't promise, but a large part of jumping into a new MMO is as much what the game is as what the developers what it to be and so much was never done with their goals. anyway, this is interesting news, first I've heard of it, thanks
