That's one way to lose a bunch of donations to the salvation army.

Why would the actions of the red cross affect donations to the salvation army?

To people really have nothing better to do in life then blame gamers for things? Obviously there are exceptions to the rules but most gamers I know and have meet are the nicest people you will ever meet. And yes these same people are the ones blowing stuff up and killing all night long in there games, and that's even assuming they are violent games. First PETA attacks mario and now this -__- people need to get lives.

Organizations and Political figures have been attacking games since Pong days. (Back then it was the cause that arcade games damage the brain and the cities around america were putting curfews and time limits for teens spending their weekends at the Arcades)
Video games make too much money and taxes for any form of video gaming attack to succeed. The only thing they were able to do is slap a rating like they did with movies and occasionally edit certain explicit contents found in games (Like the nudity in The Witcher). But they will NEVER be able to ban games completely.

To be fair if you think about video games with killing, sex, and violence are not really normal. I mean trying to role play or immerse yourself as a cold blooded killer is a bit weird. Also, sitting down in front of a computer for extended periods of time is bad for your eyes and health. So if you think about it logically video games are the equivalent to sitting down and watching TV while eating Cheetos at 3AM. So technically speaking video games promote and reinforce negative behavior.

Because people who this annoyed would simply donate elsewhere if it angered them enough, salvation army being a good well known alternative.

Technically speaking most things we do in life reinforce negative behavior/lifestyles.

My fiance is going to ask the Red Cross about this when they are present at a meeting. She works in the social services sector.

Fact. Although, even before this when I was a bell ringer for Salvation Army, quite a few people would mention they would donate to Salvation Army before the Red Cross. <.<

This isn't going to help them, lol.

    +1 to that!

I also just got a book for my birthday, it's basically this author talking to "god" and asking him why the bible says this, but this is what happens. It's quite humorous, basically it's talking the bible and proving it wrong, but by god... if that makes any sense lol...

Yes but when they waste money and man hours on things like this they are actually acting more ridiculous than most religions.
