I saw a comment for that Youtube video that too many people in beta complained about the consequences in the story line and BioWare changed it so only the dialogue is different.

What I mean is, if you make a choice, will you be able to change it later. Because if you can change it, then it isn't a consequence.

Can anyone confirm or deny this please.

Not sure anyone should confirm or deny due to it probably still being considered an NDA topic.

This is true, didn't consider that. But BioWare already confirmed it as a game feature in the past so stating it is still a feature wouldn't be breaking the NDA. However, NOT stating it is still a feature in the game will answer my question.

I think the reason I'm interested in TOR is morbid fascination with watching train-wrecks.

P.S. Doesn't mean it won't be popular, of course.

LOL Kyoji you play and finsh games in like a week, so obviously you will not agree with most peoples opinions, and given the fanboi factor, I expect more than sugar coating more like a full caramel encasement a la Han Solo carbonite

PS - Gunther and your sig stink on ice

    love

It looks like a good game and I bet a lot of people are going to like it. If it was free-to-play or buy-the-box I'd probably give it a go. My bank account is allergic to monthly fees on 200+ hour games though. :p

I like the sidekicks, it reminds me of GW1's heroes. Those worked really well. Some people complained that they made the game anti-social, but I say: "meh". They added a new level of build-crafting to the game that was a lot of fun, and I think a lot of people are going to really enjoy that. I bet the story is going to be good too, Bioware is pretty good at that, I really like Mass Effect (plus their studio is based out of the city I was born and raised in! :) ). I'm not a fan of Star Wars, but the IP is strong and a lot of people are going to like it just because they can walk around Dagobah or wherever. Having huge amounts of content at launch doesn't hurt either. :)

The best part of the video is when they played the evil empire music when the EA logo came on. <3 that. :D

I'm a die-hard GW2 fanboy and I think that both games look awesome. I offer this picture as proof that we can all get along:

As far as quests go, no, you cannot re-do a quest and make a different decision. That's, like, a core part of the game. LOL.

That's a shame its pay-to-play, even if its funded by micro-transactions I'd like to see more games move to less gouge-based financing models hahaha :D

Speaking of micro-transactions...A friend of mine made a Star Wars t-shirt if anyone is interested.

I use to think the same before getting into testing a while back. Although, I do very well enjoy Bioware's single player games, MMOs are new ground for them (I'm leaving out Warhammer relations). We can only hope for the best.
