I came across this video today while I was looking at Deus EX reviews, check out this cool video of prosthetic parts available today for the human body and how their starting to become very similar to those in Deus EX:

Pretty cool video if your into technology, ghost in the shell, or Deus Ex.

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I hear there's a shady Russian surgeon in an abandoned apartment building who can perform that operation. Just don't open the fridge, because everything is expired.

Iunno, its all pretty cool. I'd be more enthusiastic if it looked more natural.

Then again, I'm someone that given the chance would tinker with given biology versus putting metal in my body.. =/
That being said, I do remember reading something in my classes where they had successfully integrated a microprocessor chip with brain cells without cell rejection. However, they had to genetically augment the cells to non-rejection..which is impossible right now given current technology with an already developed human brain.

Agreed, I trust my body not to fail randomly. I don't have nearly the same faith in computerized shit.

You know I go both ways, though I would rather wait on metal legs and such till neurobotics is a bit bigger.
