Modern Warfare 3

Its not that they are rushed, but because "parent company' said annual installments of the franchise to milk the cash cow.

 

MW2 for the PC was a port because Infinity ward ran out of time and Activision wouldnt move the deadline back.

Activision are the bad guys in causing them to be rushed out as like Sogetsu said above, they want annual releases so IW and Treyarch are having 2 years to design, build, test and then release a new game. Its really not that long for a developer and i think its spoiled what was an excellent series with CoD1, UO, CoD2 and CoD4. After that they just aren't as good or well made.

I'm just going to wait and see what happens with this one.

 

I wanted to give BO a chance, but really - its all the same thing (this franchise) but - most FPS is "all the same thing". Unless there is a huge following for MW3 in the XoO community (like BO was) then I might consider it, otherwise - I'm just looking forward to BF3 for my fps cure at this point.

Plus tons of the infinity ward people left to make respawn entertainment that I believe is working under EA.

 

The problem with this post is that there are at least 3 studios working on CoD games: IW, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer Games.

 

Hey now guys this one is totally different. Instead of the buildings being made out of adobe they're made out of glass & steel cause now we're fighting in a developed country. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

 

But they all work for Activision.

 

Unless Activision intends to push out 2 CoD games in a year, it doesn't matter.

 

I don't really like EA or Activision, but out of the 2 I definitely prefer EA.

 

If they could they would.

 

Saw the "gameplay: trailer. Nothing new really, looks the same, or close enough - to MW2 and the rest of the "modern" series.

Unfortunately, it will still sell millions of copies. : (

 

Why do people keep paying 60+ bucks for what should be an expansion?

There is no way in hell I am buying another MW after all the rubbish they keep pumping out and way they treat their old supporters.

Same, sadly we do not represent the majority. We are educated gamers, the majority is comprised of retarded teenagers and "new generation" gamers, you know the "cool" guys that have 3 games and a console... a CoD MW game, a racing game and a random sports game (usually basketball or football).
