http://www.moddb.com/engines/cryengine-3/news/be-free-be-creative-be-the-developer Sometime this summer we're supposed to get a SDK with full source code access. This is going to be amazingly awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
i think he was alsot he one that had to turn if graphics down alot in TERA to play it.... Unless he is going to use this on something els or he is upgraded or already has
I got 4 fps on BC2, and no I haven't upgraded. :\ Either way I'm going to be messing with it. Be it at 4 FPS or not.
Arimil, why not just buy a $100 graphics card and play at medium/low settings? It would obviously be a huge upgrade for you and not a lot of money.
Don't have a job atm. I live in a really rural area and there isn't many places close to me. So finding a job isn't exactly easy. I have a 8800GTS that I'm not sure if it still works or not. My previous computer the mobo fried itself and I'm not sure what it took with it. I bought another mobo a few months ago and the PC still won't turn on. I made sure the mobo I bought had a integrated GPU for testing purposes. But the PC still wouldn't turn on. Push power no output to the screen with either my 8800GTS or the integrated chip. Which makes me think the PC actually isn't booting. Aka the processor is dead. As you probably already know a new CPU isn't cheap so yeah... kinda in a bad spot right now.
If the power stays on and fans spin, but no video goes to the screen at all, then your CPU is dead. What socket do you have? I have a couple extra AM2, 754, and I think 939 socket CPUs sitting here collecting dust. A pair of Opterons, a Sempron, and a couple Athlons.
It's an AM2 socket, The mobo that died: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128081 The replacement: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157160R The CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103254
Alright I think I have an AM2 Opteron sitting somewhere around here. PM me your shipping address and Ill mail it out tomorrow. Yep found it. I *think* this CPU still works too. Cant be sure, but at least you could try it out.
Sadly, I pulled all my old PC parts from the attic and it didn't. I don't think I have the right mobo though, I'm pretty sure this is the one I replaced and I can't find the other one. I'll try to get get another new mobo soon and I'll try again unless you want the CPU back.
Nope I dont want it back. I have no use for the old CPUs. You should try and get this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157226 it supports AM2, AM2+, and AM3 CPUs. Here is the compatibility list, The Opteron I sent is on that list and your old CPU probably is as well: http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=A770DE+
