In this case I want to say I think crafting could easily outweigh PvE in importance.

Why so? I know this your op but crafting doesnt really make or brake the game for many ppl........a game can have a poo crafting system but if it has great PvP/PvE system it normally can do great and many ppl look past it crafting system =P

 

Do you know anything about ArcheAge? The entire game is a crafting system.

 

Ok not seeing the point your trying to make atm? if the PvP and the PvE sucks the crafting isnt going to save the game at all. That is all i was pointing out that many ppl dont truly quit a game bc the crafting sucks its more so if it lacks PvE and PvP or which ever the game is selling

 

You are missing the point. Without that point we really can't explain why this game is a crafting system and why thats likely to be more important than the other two.

Have you ever played a crafting driven MMO?

 

You build things, other people try to build things too or take them from you already built. I guess that's crafting on a macro level. That's where the drama lies in ArcheAge. People want your land or your money (in the form of tenants in your town paying taxes). They'll kill you for it, or you can kill them first. That's where PvP comes in, sieges, pirate boats, etc. And then there's the normal PvE to get levels, money, etc.
