Mortal Kombat

So any plan on getting this game on release? It doesn't seem they are going to flood us with a load of bull shit fighting styles and they are going back to the old ways of MK. I'll be getting it for sure. So, any other takers?

I actually don't know anything about the new game. If you have any information it would be nice. I.e - Link

I have seen the movie promo and that looks fecking boss.

 

Here is the link to game informer. Basically MK is going back to its roots of Arcade Style fighting. None of that BS "Story" mode with different fighting styles w/ weapons. Its going to be old fashioned MK beat down with brutal fatalities. That is the best way I can describe it without talking in circles

Tempted to buy myself a PS3 just for this game.

 

I have video of the game before the guy yelled at me to turn it off.

 

What a dick Why have booths if you can't record it. The release is in April so why are they whinning?

 

I'm a fan of the originals so I'm tempted to get this one. Glad to see their going back to it's roots. It looks awesome.

 

Passing on it. The devs failed to reach out to the fg community for any play tests to find bugs, infinites, exc.

 

I played the demo yesterday and it you know what, it feels like mortal kombat 3.. which is awesome! I'll be picking this one up for sure, probably not at release but I will own it at some point.

 

I'd kill for a PS3 emulator. lol Would save me so much money. Might treat myself in a month or so to a second hand console just for this game.

 

I would do that. Get a used one and you should be good. I'll stick to my xbox though.

 

I just picked up a PS3 2 days and downloaded this demo. Back to it's roots was a good decision. Still waiting to read some reviews though.

 

Yeah, me too, should be some good reviews, the preview in opm said it was awesome though, even though it wasn't a full review.

 

Yeah this game is going to help revive the fighter genre. SF started it and now its time for another time tested classic to come back from the grave with a vengeance.

Yeah i dont know why, but as a Fighting game fan! I must have a mortal Kombat for my Ps3.

Having a SF and a MK, in my colection makes me feel jung again!
