TERA Online ApplicationHow old are you? 25 In-Game Name? Penthisylia Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your primary class? Priest Why did you choose XoO: I took a quiz on the tera guild forums section and it came up as XoO, erm the link is too long, but i can post it later if you want. I read over the goals and CoC and found that I liked what I saw so I decided to apply. Previous Gaming Experience: I started mmos in 2005, most of them being F2P games except FF11. Flyff: Blade 80 Rappelz : Priest 75; FF11: Pld 75, Brd 75, Drg 75; Atlantica Online: 130 shaman; Mabinogi: total lv430; Vindictus: Fiona 20, Zentia: Dark Revnant 61...the rest wasn't that memorable. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? I like to work with others than solo because its pretty boring doing things alone. I think that doing things together be it questing, raiding or gvg pvp is more fun than just going at it alone. I also like satisfaction of working as a guild to conquer something be it a boss. dungeon or even a difficult quest. What will you contribute to the guild? I listen to instructions very well and I believe that I support others well. I think and do things that I believe will benefit the guild, however I won't do anything without approval of the guild. Oh yea and my husband and sister...assuming their apps go through. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? None A little bit about yourself? I'm pretty quiet at first, until I 'click' with the right people then its a bit hard to shut me up..or at least that's what I'm told ^^;...I am nervous at the moment applying because I really do want to join. I do well with guilds that I grow up with so to speak and am loyal til the guild falls apart. Activity level? 40+ easily Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the TERA usergroup? Yes
Have you had any play time with the game? Exhibition demos, focus group testing, Korean open beta, Korean retail?
I'm sorry I haven't touched the game at all; I just recently came to notice it when a friend mentioned it to me when talking about upcoming games of interest. I did look at ways to access the Kobt when it was going on however i read about complications related to not having or having illegally acquired kssn to access the game. Some people did get through with their kssn only to be banned later on after they logged in for a little bit and to be honest I really have no idea who or where to get the kssn from in order to access the game. I'm assuming the focus group testing is also preselected to play the korean version of the game? I haven't accessed that no..probably too late for it as I didn't find out much bout the game til now. Um..as for korean retail i have no idea wat that entails o-o..i can probably try it soon as i find out what that involves. Really sorry i'm noobish atm...the last time i played an asian mmo was perfect world japan and i had a friend who happen to be fluent in japanese to walk me thru it and play together..and they didn't ask for a ssn. Ah sorry just saw the exhibition demo mentioned..um i haven't tried that either sorry. x.x
sounds like they used a kssn generator.......we have much better methods of getting into korean retail......and some of us have been playing tera for almost 3 months and are still not banned....so, it all matters on the method of getting your account....also tera is very easy to understand even without knowing any english. I did notice you played a lot of PvE orientated mmo's can we be assured your not rusty when facing a real challenge? Don't get me wrong FFXI was not an easy game to get plenty of professions to max its just that it is a PvE game to the extremity.
I guess what u mean by rusty would be the pvp aspect of the game? I did play alot of pve games, but mostly i was lookin for content and story in a game rather than pve vs pvp content. There was a few games i did do pvp in, but most of those are not necessarily 1vs1...more along the lines of guild vs guild in a seige or faction vs faction..games like aika online for example..i didn't last long there becuz i quickly hit lv60 and got bored as there was no content left and what pvp there was mostly higher lvls going into newbie zones and picking them off for easy honor pts tho the seizing of relics and protecting relics is fun. I did truly enjoy dungeon seige of guild vs guild in rappelz and perfect world [province siege], because that involved more than just 1 person over powering another, but making use of what classes, lvls, and terrain you had in order to utilize them to your advantage. [forgot to mention perfect world in there sorry...played japanese, malaysian and pwi -lv80 werefox/venomancer-] I guess your concern is more along if i'm willing to participate in pvp or not? I'm willing as long as its not something like camping lowbies and corpse camping out of spite. Otherwise pvp in the fun aspect in settings like seige, dueling, and faction related such is fine. I search for games looking for excitement that involves cooperation and situations that requires strategy to overcome..otherwise there's no feeling of accomplishment there.
